Laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgeries — what are these?
Doctors specialize in the treatment of malignant and benign neoplasms in the cervix, uterus, ovaries, vagina, and labia. Doctors perform most gynecological operations with minimally invasive methods — laparoscopic or hysteroscopic surgeries.
Laparoscopic interventions are operations carried out through 2-3 small incisions in the abdomen. The length of incisions usually does not exceed 1-2 cm, so a patient does not have extensive scars. Due to the low tissue trauma, recovery takes less time compared to the open surgery.
Hysteroscopic interventions are operations on the uterus that are performed through the vagina and do not require skin incisions. Doctors remove fibroids and polyps with operative hysteroscopy.

Doctors of the Department specialize in the treatment of injuries and diseases of the shoulder, knee, and hip joints.
The key direction of the Department is the treatment of elderly patients. In 2015, Bremen-Nord was certified as the Age-Related Traumatology Center.
Orthopedists perform arthroscopic operations for the shoulder, knee and hip joints treatment.
Arthroscopic interventions are performed for diagnosis or treatment. Doctors insert a mini-camera and instruments into the joints through small holes. Thus, specialists examine or eliminate the cause of the disease.
The recovery from arthroscopy takes less time than after an open intervention. Usually, a patient gets to his/her feet on the same or the next day.
