I underwent a gastric bypass revision surgery at LIMARP on April 23rd, 2025, following my initial gastric sleeve procedure in 2014—both performed by Dr. Pompa. I cannot speak highly enough of her expertise, compassion, and thoroughness. She takes the time to explain every detail, which truly puts you at ease and builds trust. The nursing team and staff are equally exceptional, providing attentive care and support throughout the entire process. The aftercare at LIMARP is outstanding. I am literally getting ready to be picked up and driven back to San Diego post-surgery.
I have only very positive things to say about my entire process. From gathering early information all the way to getting discharge orders from Dr. Pompa, everything has been highly professional, informative, and met or exceeded expectations.
From the start of the pre-op diet, about 10 or so days ago, I lost 8lbs, and already, my blood pressure has completely normalized to 120/80. With proper attention to weight management and diet, one less pill to take!
If you're considering taking the step to really being an advocate for your own body and mind, just do it.
I have the initial post-op diet to comply with, but I trust the process and view this as a journey to a whole new me 😀
