About the clinic
At LIV Hospitals Group surgeons carry out gastrectomy in the General Surgery Department. Stomach removal surgery for cancer is an effective treatment for early stages of the disease. At LIV Hospital a multidisciplinary teams treat onco patients. These teams consist of several specialists from different departments. That allows for more thorough treatment.
The operation is carried out by a group of surgeons on a patient under general anesthesia. The procedure lasts for 2-3 hours. In case of open surgery, patients spend 2-3 days in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and around 2-3 weeks in general ward. Minimally invasive operation puts the body under less stress, so patients are usually dismissed within 1 day after the procedure.
After the surgery physicians advise patients to start dieting and quit bad habits, as they slow down rehabilitation process and may trigger cancer.

زرنا مستشفى ليف بإسطنبول بناءا على نصيحة منسقكم السيد عماد حسين و تعاملنا مع قسم الاورام هناك بمساعدة السيدة فراح
الحقيقة المستشفى كان في المستوى و التعامل مع المريض كان جيد جدا
وقعت مشكلة صغيرة بخصوص ثمن الاستشارة الذي وصل الى 700 اورو بسبب سوء تفاهم مع المترجم لكن تم حل المشكلة و الاكتفاء بثمن الاستشارة 90اورو

Coordination is very poor. At first, my mother was not met at the airport, she waited half an hour until the driver found her. Then at the hotel, which was booked for one price, they gave another, more expensive. It’s good that the transfer arrived at the clinic on time and the clinic did all the examinations. Before departure we managed to give the results of the surveys, but the overall impression is bad.

We went to the clinic for rectal adecarcenoma. Bookimed coordinator Ekaterina promptly and professionally helped organize the trip. Upon arrival at the airport, we were met by a car from Liv Hospital, taken to the booked hotel. Each transfer from the hotel to the clinic and back was carried out practically without delay. The examination took place within the agreed time and price, and a course of treatment was prescribed. What will be the results of treatment, time will tell

She sent for PET / CT revision made at the Korean clinic Severance Hospital, because Severance made a very dubious short description, more like an unsubscribing. I chose Liv Hospital, assistant Bookimed Alexei and assistant Liv Hospital Lala all organized perfectly, data exchange by e-mail, payment at a reasonable price, three days and the description is ready, done well, in detail and clearly.
