Leech Private Clinic

Privatklinik Leech, founded in 1973, is a private surgical clinic in the centre of Graz, the capital of Styria in southern Austria. It belongs to SANLAS Holding, a Styrian healthcare group founded in 1980 that today runs twelve health facilities across rehabilitation, care, prevention, acute medicine and surgery. Leech works as a "Belegarzt" clinic: patients are treated by the specialist of their choice from a team of around 100 doctors, who use the clinic's operating theatres, nursing team and infrastructure. With 44 beds in single and double rooms, three operating theatres and a round-the-clock recovery unit, the clinic combines a broad surgical range with the comfort and personal atmosphere of a small private hospital in the heart of the city.

The clinic covers almost every surgical field apart from obstetrics, including:

Several of the clinic's procedures address cancer, including breast-conserving operations for breast tumours, the treatment of eye tumours, and the removal of skin moles and tumours with subsequent pathological assessment. The clinic also offers gastroscopy and colonoscopy, internal medicine with cardiology, angiology and gastroenterology, neurology, dermatology and interventional pain therapy. On-site computed tomography and X-ray support fast and accurate diagnosis.

Day Clinic

A dedicated day clinic allows many treatments to be carried out in a single day, without an overnight stay, including:
