About the clinic

At Medical Park Hospitals Group surgeons perform stomach removal surgery for cancer at the General Surgery Department. The operation is performed on a patient under general anesthesia by a team of physicians. The procedure lasts for 2-3 hours. A patient is sent to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for recovery then. After 2-4 days in the ICU, a patient is relocated to the regular ward for 2-3 weeks. During this time doctors educate a patient on what diet they should have and what lifestyle changes they should adopt.

The gastrectomy cost depends on stage of cancer and patient condition before the operation.

The interpreter, the taxi and the clinic that was recommended to us were all top notch. We were met at the airport and brought to the clinic. The doctors are good and experienced.
