Lokman Hekim Istanbul Hospital: Patients Reviews and Experience

I was very impressed with the clinic and the attentive care given to patients. Special thanks to Dr. Rukhat Tanli—an knowledgeable, professional, and highly compassionate specialist. Anesthesia was administered smoothly, and recovery was comfortable. The staff is friendly and caring, and the clinic is modern and clean. I would also like to specifically thank coordinator Olga for her assistance, support, and translation guidance—thanks to her, the entire process was calm and organized. I am completely satisfied with the treatment and grateful to the entire team for their professionalism and care.

The whole experience from the initial contact with bookimed & Zekra my medical coordinator was fantastic, the care, support & attention to every question asked was faultless. When I was connected to the Lokman Hekim hospital and Dr Yaman I then had a video call with him aided by the interpreter Ismail where my surgery was discussed in detail. Upon arrival in Istanbul we were met by our transfer & taken directly to the hospital where we were met by Ismail who helped us get booked in & settled, I then had various pre op tests ready for surgery the next morning. The hospital room was like a luxury hotel room & immaculately clean. The morning of my surgery I met the doctor who was a lovely, friendly man & put me at ease immediately, the after care after the surgery was excellent & the medical staff were amazing. The following day we were taken to our hotel which for 3 nights were included in the price, we decided to stay for an extra 5 nights, the hotel was lovely & the staff were very accommodating & helpful. I had various visits to the hospital who provided transport to & from the hotel & every visit we were met at the door by Ismail & taken to see Dr Yaman. I had one last appointment with him on the morning we were flying home when the stitches were removed, we were then taken to the airport. I cannot put into words how amazed I am at the results of my surgery & what it has done for me, it has literally given me my life back. I can’t praise the whole experience enough & I am so grateful to Zekra, Ismail & especially Dr Yaman.

Everything was just as Olga (Bookimed) initially told me; I am grateful to her for helping with my issue. I am currently in the recovery process, and even post-intervention, she consistently checks in on me to see how I am doing. She is a very attentive and wonderful person. The airport-clinic transfer and return was conducted flawlessly at a VIP level. The staff at Lokman Hekim Clinic acted promptly and admitted me immediately. The interpreter was ideal, providing great emotional support. Dr. Elif Esra Uyar exceeded my expectations; she paid close attention to everything. I had a problem I had been putting off for several years, and she helped me resolve it, promising that I would become a mother within three months, which gives me immense hope. If I am unable to conceive on my own, she advised me to return to the clinic for assistance with treatment to fulfill my cherished dream. I will certainly return if needed!! I was on 29 September 2025 at Lockman hekim clinic for breast and eyelid reduction.All my fears and doubts were in vain. From the very beginning of my enquiry at Bookimed to the last taxi ride to the airport after the procedures, everything went without a single obstacle. Everything went smoothly and smoothly. We arrived very early, we were taken to the clinic and our interpreter Olga was already in touch with us. We were placed in a beautifully decorated room, on the same day all the necessary medical parameters were taken. The doctor clearly explained what would happen and how it would be done. We were in the clinic for 3 days and then to the hotel. It was also clean, beautifully designed, rich breakfast. I recommend Lokman Hekim and Dr Marat Yaman if you want to change your appearance.

I am very grateful to all the staff for their attentiveness and prompt assistance. I travelled alone, but I didn't feel lonely, I had support from all sides ☺️ Transfer is super, I didn't even expect that it would be so VIP, the drivers are very well-mannered, attentive, careful driving! The hotel is great, I got even more than положено👍🏼 The interpreter Olga provided all kinds of help, support and was always there for me! 🫶 I had a difficult operation on my nose, but Murat Yaman is a professional and did everything to the maximum and even more, I do not regret that out of all the options I was offered I chose him 🥰 I hope my nose will be beautiful) Thank you so much 😊

From my first communication with Bookimed, I knew I had made the right decision. Their attention to detail in arranging treatment, follow ups, transfers and being continually available made my surgical journey so easy. They organised everything, they provided international support services. Bookimed gave me plenty of information and choice. They really put me first. I would highly recommend Bookimed.

The great experiance started from pick up from airport with private comfortable taxi to hotel, and the next day the taxi to hospital. The hospital was first class, clean to such a high standard with exceptional treatment and care, from everyone looking after us we could not fault it in anyway. The surgeon, anathesist, nurses and the interpretor, were all amazing, all looked after me so well and discussed everything that was going to happen and carried out several tests, l felt very comfortable in their hands and their hospital, my private room was amazing. My husband stayed in the hospital the whole time with me, where they catered for his needs, sleeping the night and supplying his food and drinks, making us both feel very comfortable. I would definately recommend this hospital and all the staff, l could not reccomend them highly enough. I will if l need more treatment, definately go back there. Finished with private taxi to airport, at no extra cost. Thank you all.

We were brought straight to the hospital after arriving. Good transfer! Olga, our interpreter, met us at the hospital. She was not only an interpreter but also a counsellor on many issues in Istanbul, as it was the first time we had been here. In the evening we took a blood test and in the morning I was operated. I came out of the anaesthesia easily, already in a new image. The doctor was very attentive, both before the operation, during the examination, and after. Service staff, very nice nurses, even though I did not understand them, but smiled doing their job and did not embarrass me. In the hospital I was with my husband only two nights, I felt good and we moved to the hotel (room large, clean with breakfast included!). We went to the dressing. There was always a transfer! Additionally I want to add about Istanbul - it is very interesting and mysterious city fairy tale! Thank you all who supported me from the very beginning of my decision and to the end!
