I underwent an online consultation on the choice of the most optimal treatment option. Since two well-known Moscow clinics gave completely different recommendations for the treatment of my disease (spleen lymphoma): surgical removal of the spleen, or chemotherapy, I decided to ask the opinion of a German professor. Of course, it is very expensive to be treated in Germany, but getting a competent opinion on your specific case, sending all the necessary tests, diagnostics and receiving answers and a treatment regimen, is quite possible: my online consultation cost 650 euros + a written summary with translation into Russian. The whole process, from collecting documents / analyzes, to receiving the final summary, was accompanied by the coordinating doctor Alexey from Bookimed, to whom I am very grateful. He is very responsive, always in touch, answers all questions, but at the same time he is tactful and unobtrusive - a real professional and a very kind person. So, I received answers to my questions, chose the tactics of treatment, and all this for a very reasonable fee. The only drawback is the excess of the stated deadlines, which is not typical, as I think, for the Germans (the consultation was promised within 7 days, in fact it took place 15 days after payment, and the final summary was delayed for a couple of days), it would be better to immediately position the maximum period , then there would be no painful days of waiting. In general, I am satisfied with the result. I think in my case, this is just a very convenient form of counseling that does not require huge material and organizational costs associated with physical travel abroad. I bow to the coordinator Alexei for his patience, tact and professionalism!

On the whole, everything is operational in the clinic, as soon as we entered the girl’s clinic at the reception, they quickly reacted. Professor himself Dr. Med. Barberra took us very politely, took a lot of time to adapt the child to himself, so that he would get used to it, because the child was scared, the professor took a direct individual approach, which is rare enough for a doctor of this level, especially considering that he is not at all a child, even a surgeon, so I want to note this moment, so the little patient, of course, is worth contacting. The doctor promptly worked because he didn’t see the problem in his direction and redirected us to orthopedists where we were also promptly given an x-ray. Nord Clinics Alyan is very accurate in the organization, that is, we were met minute by minute in time, I want to mention Karina, a girl translator, who accompanied us all the time, no delays, no extra calls.

I requested a second opinion for the treatment of prostate cancer for my dad. The cosultation was provided in written by Prof. Dr. med. Sebastian Melchior. He answered all my initial questions and the ones I've sent after his initial answers in meter of few days. This helped us in understanding better the situation and possible options. However due to the fact that most of the answers were of general rather specific nature, in the end we are still not sure what is the better treatment in our case.

I did an online consultation with the doctor thou was expecting a good feedback but instead it turned out to be a heartbreaking one but it was a fact maybe that I didn't knew but otherwise they are average.

I have not been to the clinic. There was a dialogue on ZUM. The second opinion presented basically coincided with the Russian one. It was helpful. Various technologies and their applicability were considered. The German specialist's consultation was complete.
