Veni Vidi Eye Clinics: Patients Reviews and Experience

I would like to express my gratitude to the clinic. I had my eyesight corrected with the help of No touch laser, which I had been suffering from since childhood. I am very grateful to the doctor, she is a master of her craft! And the coordinator Ivanna, who organised everything perfectly. It was the best decision to come to this clinic.

Everything was great! Accessible and high quality counselling from the coordinator Tatiana at Bookmed! Tatiana put me in touch with the interpreter Olga from Special Veni Vidi Eye Health Centre Veni Vidi Göz Caddebostan On the first day I had a quality examination and on the same day I had a lens replacement surgery in one eye. The operation was performed by a wonderful doctor with many years of experience, a professional in her field - Sultan Kaya Unsal. The operation lasted about 6 minutes (for the 1st eye), the 2nd eye was done the next day in 4 minutes 32 seconds! The process was painless and stress free. Today, more than a week after the operation, I can see perfectly, read and write small print! No discomfort ! The recovery process is ongoing! Thank you very much for your labour and competence! I recommend it to everyone!

Everything was done quickly and professionally. Everything was explained in an understandable way. Everything was done. Offered an additional service for which they did not charge extra, although we were not aware that this could also be included in the price. Did not impose any further services. Told us objectively what could be done and what could not be done. In the past they always tried to impose operations on us, scaring us with the consequences. But here everything was clearly described and it was explained that the operation was not necessary at all. That is, they didn't try to sell us an extra one. If we do have laser correction, I think we will come back to this clinic.

I really liked the entire organization of my treatment, starting with the search and offer of a clinic, the organization and coordination of the trip itself. The coordinator from Bookimed, Tatyana, was always in touch and answered all our questions on time. Upon arrival at the airport, we missed (through no fault of our own) the taxi that was supposed to take us to our already reserved hotel. But Tatyana was able to coordinate all the actions so that we easily got to the hotel. Later we called our medical coordinator from the “Veni Vidi” clinic, Olga, who was in touch with us all the time, both during the consultation with Dr. Firat HELVACIOGLU, and during treatment (keratoconus). Olga was ready to translate our conversation (Turkish-Russian languages) with the doctor, but since Doctor Firat speaks excellent English, in which it was more convenient for me to communicate, there was no need for translation. Overall, we are pleased with both the trip and the attitude of the medical staff towards us. We express our gratitude for all this to both Tatyana and Olga. I contacted the clinic via Bookimed.com before arrival and supplied them with my medical reports. They picked me up from the airport and sent me to my hotel. I requested having eye lens laser replacement asap so I can go back home a week after the operation. I arrived at the clinic early morning and was received by Anastasia, a health assistant supporting the patients and helping with the translation. I did all the pre operations test and then met with Dr. Remzi Karadag. He checked my test results and performed more tests, then confirmed my suitability for the operation. I had one eye operated on same day and the other eye the next day. I was issued with eye drops and information on how to look after my eyes during convalescence. A week on, so far so good. I am not using glasses anymore but full restoration of vision will take a month or maybe more. There are cases when the diagnosis is clear and people are looking for a specific doctor, but in my case, 5 years of neurological suffering, various treatments and spent funds did not help to identify the disease, everything only got worse. I went to Veni Vidi Goz Antalya for a laser eye surgery. Unfortunately I couldn’t do the surgery due to my thin cornea. However I had a great experience interacting with the staff. I got a detailed explanation on why I couldn’t do the surgery as well as possible alternatives. Dr Ugur Balci and Ania Sebai were amazing. I’m still considering the alternative option I was offered and hope to go back to the clinic when I eventually make a decision.

I really enjoyed my experience at the clinic, Anastasia was amazing, she literally showed me everything and took me everywhere on the day, even to the pharmacy to pick up all my eye drops and held my hand during the surgery (I was a little worried). Everything went very smoothly and it was very quick. After the surgery my eyes did hurt a fair amount as they explain if you have the no touch laser surgery like I did but I recovered after a few days and now my sight is great. I would defined recommend and I’m soo happy I went through with it.
