Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin
Berlin Charité Clinic, the most famous and largest university clinic in Europe, was founded in 1710. It belongs to the oldest traditional medical institution in Germany and Europe. There are two universities on premises of clinic. More than a half of the German Nobel Prize for Medicine laureates work at Charite. The network consists of more than 100 clinics and institutes, united in 17 multidisciplinary medical centers. It treats patients with chronic, oncological diseases, conducts medical research, provides training of doctors and scientists at the international level.
