How Much Does Radiofrequency ablation of the liver Cost in Germany?

The cost of radiofrequency ablation of the liver in Germany typically ranges from $12,000 to $20,000. Prices can vary depending on the clinic, the experience of the interventional radiologist, whether the procedure is open or percutaneous, and the number of tumors treated. In the United States, the average cost is $22,500 (per ACR). This means radiofrequency ablation of the liver in Germany is about 29% less expensive than in the U.S.

German hospitals usually include pre-op imaging (CT or MRI), anesthesia, the ablation procedure, hospital stay (1–3 days), medications, and follow-up scans. In the U.S., the price often covers only the procedure itself, with separate charges for anesthesia, imaging, and hospital stay. Always confirm exactly what’s included in your treatment package at each clinic.

It was a great help to have somebody with me during the day of the tests, sorting my papers and dealing with translation
Having made an initial enquiry on line, I was impressed by the follow up and treatment proposals and costs I did some research and determined that I needed to get the very best medical attention It was a great help to have somebody with me during the day of the tests, sorting my papers and dealing with translation. Absolutely invaluable Everything was explained to me in detail My only comments are that it would have been good to have been informed about the number of nights stay in the hospital I expected an overnight stay after the procedure In fact for good reasons it was a total of three nights
