"I was extremely satisfied with everything that happened to me at this wonderful hospital"
I was extremely satisfied with everything that happened to me at this wonderful hospital. I don't think that there is a hospital in Asia which can compare with this one. From the doctors to the nurses and all other personell in this hospital ALL are competent, very polite and friendly - the only small criticism that I have is that unfortunately many don't speak English very well, that's a great shame. What is important to consider when choosing a clinic for radiotherapy?

  1. New TrueBeam and Elekta devices 2013-2018 that provide:
  • Efficacy and safety of treatment. The 3D modeling function allows you to adjust the intensity and accuracy (up to 0.5 mm) of radiation beam delivery. Installations affect the tumor without irradiating healthy tissues of the body.
  • Treatment speed. The patient undergoes 1 or more radiation sessions according to the dose calculated by the doctor. 1 procedure lasts 10-15 minutes. For comparison, a session on 2003-2008 equipment. lasts 30-60 minutes.
  1. Teamwork of qualified specialists, which affects the correct conduct of the procedure. Radiation therapy is performed by a radio-oncologist and a medical physicist. The radiooncologist plans the number of sessions, the site and the angle of irradiation. The medical physicist sets up and controls the operation of the equipment during the session.
