I owe them all my gratitude.
The Medi-Cal team was amazing and the hospital stay was beyond expectations.. No words can express this journey, especially that I was alone and I have no-one to help, the medical team was the family that I didn't have in this hard time!! It started by arranging my fflight pickup from the airport, brought a luxurious van to take me from and to hospital, hotel and airport , they offered me the full support and successfuly completed a very complicated surgery, I owe them all my gratitude.
My only complaint is that they didn't ask for an emergency number in case of a crisis .. I did that by informing my family with the number of the personal assistant who was occupied to assist me in my whole journey there.

I really enjoyed my trip to Istanbul. Bookimed created a very effortless experience. On arrival at the airport after a canceled flight and having to rebook surgery, it was very easy to find my transportation which took me directly to the hotel. Due to complications with our flight on arrival, the rescheduling of the surgery was arranged by my medical coordinator and he handled it very quickly and easily (on my part, im not sure if it was easy on him, lol). The next day the transportation was already scheduled to get me to the hospital for revision rhinoplasty. There was quite a language barrier but bookimed assured we had a translator with us for the majority of our stay or was readily available to communicate through cell phone if necessary. Upon waking from surgery I was shivering extremely badly, which seems to be a normal experience for patients waking up from anesthesia, which I was not aware of and caused a little bit of worry from my guest that accompanied me. Once this resided the night in the hospital I spent the majority of the time sleeping so the nurses took good care of me, but there was still that language barrier which made some difficulties with understanding what medications they were giving me or wanted me to do. I am a nurse in the United States and can say that the nurses did a fabulous job with making sure I was ambulating the evening of my surgery to get the blood flowing even though I didn't feel like it. The medical coordinator came by in the morning to assist with getting my medications, then we got some tea and we waited about 20 minutes for the transportation that took us back to the hotel. After that my guest and I spent about three nights in the hotel room before I felt okay enough to go explore, during this time period the medical coordinator continued to check in to make sure we were doing okay, he even gave us some recommendations on places to explore. We arranged the transportation on the days we explored, but given the advice from locals, we made sure we did not get scammed by the taxi drivers as this is a common practice in Istanbul that we were made aware of. Days later transportation was arranged for me to go see the doctor again and have the "tampons" removed from my nose and my nose to be cleaned out. All in all the pain was fairly minimum, I just felt very tired, the doctor was extremely professional and really took his time on my case which I knew was extremely difficult, the medical coordinator was fantastic and really eased the stress and anxiety of the surgery. If i do another cosmetic surgery in Istanbul I will be booking through BookIMed. Also Professor Doner was an AMAZING rhinoplasty surgeon and I highly recommend him.

I'm from Witney, Oxfordshire, UK, and I traveled to Hair for a beard and hair transplant, and I cannot praise the professional services received from all team members highly enough. I am writing this review from my hotel room the day after my beard and hair transplant. When I first decided to undergo a hair transplant in Turkey, I was overwhelmed with offers from seemingly hundreds of hair transplant clinics via WhatsApp, and it was difficult to discern which clinics were the best. I chose to go with Hair in Istanbul since I didn't see any negative reviews, and it was recommended to me by Bookimed. I then thoroughly researched this clinic online before making my decision. When I met the medical team, I could tell that I made the right choice by coming to this clinic. It is a good clinic, and the team of doctors performing the procedure were highly skilled, professional, and attentive. Once they started extracting grafts, I could tell that these people knew what they were doing. During my initial consultation on WhatsApp, I was told that they would be able to extract 3,000 grafts, but they actually extracted 4,800, so they implanted a few additional grafts into the crown area of my head for free. They implanted each graft, which meant it took longer than planned. I will send photographic results of the hair and beard transplant in six months. I also permit Hair to share my contact details with anyone who wishes to enquire about my customer experience with this clinic. A highly professional and extremely talented medical team of technicians who performed the actual procedure. A huge thank you to Bunyamin, who harvested the grafts and opened the channels, and to Samet Yusuf, who implanted 3,600 grafts into my hair and 1,200 grafts into my beard. Thank you.

My Coordinator Ege was awesome and very helpful + friendly, quick to respond whenever you need help. Dr Ilker had good questions and was receptive to my suggestions and decisions. I am still healing from the procedure but it looks good so far. I can’t wait to see the jplasma results, at the moment they can’t fully be seen, will update once I can. Overall a+ for the doctor and coordinator. The hospital is okay, the nurses are okay too.

Altogether I couldn’t recommend Bookimed and Istanbul Aesthetic centre more highly, it was a great experience.
Return: About the doctor: The surgeon (Dr Ergin) took preliminary blood tests and I saw the surgeon (Dr Ergin) for a consultation then went into surgery about an hour later.
About the clinic: Everything was highly organised, clean and professional.
The hospital was extremely efficient, I checked in and was shown to my room.
About the results: I stayed at the hotel for a week and went back to the hospital for a check up after a week as per protocol for follow up.
About the experience: I read a few mixed reviews and was a little nervous about some of them so I wanted to leave a review of my experience to help put peoples minds at ease.

The medical team was efficient but the language barrier means that there is little to no communication with them. All communication is via the marketing/ contact person who, of course, cannot be with you during the entire day of the procedure.
I think it would be helpful for all patients to receive a written breakdown of the day and follow-up day, prior to arriving at the clinic to help them to mentally prepare themselves but also to better understand what to expect during, and also in the days and weeks following the procedure.

In a nutshell, everything was beyond expectations! The gentleman named, Mr. Bakr AbdulHadi from Bookimed. which he arranged everything from end to end. Based on the doctors profiles I choose doctor out 5 doctors he provided. Him and his team was in contact every moment and made sure if Everything is OK. Ground team members of Mr. Bakr AbdulHadi was with me every steps of my journey.
My face lift, eyelids lift done was perfectly by Dr. Neermin, who is very good at English. Its about 1 month after the surgery and looks fantastic so far. I also had hair transplant.

Journey to medical tourism in Turkey was an Excellent experience! Was welcomed at the airport by the team member of Dr. Bakr AbdulHadi and took us to hotel. Next morning was picked up by the team member and meet my surgeon, Everything went smoothly, had tummy tuck with 360 liposuction and BBL. It was very satisfying outcome ( 2 months post surgery).
I have to mention the name of team member, English spoken Mr. Souheib who is very professional and was with us all the time of my journey. He provided updated schedule and lead us through.

The coordinator from Bookimed and the hospital staff undoubtedly endeavored to provide their best care and expertise from start to finish, ensuring a successful outcome throughout my stay, not just during the operation. I am very pleased that I chose Bookimed and this clinic for my surgery to correct a deviated nasal septum, which concluded with an additional procedure after Dr. Fehmi, an excellent doctor, informed me that I also needed a turbinate reduction due to rhinitis allergies, of which I was unaware, as it was not mentioned in the UK. I am very glad I decided to have the surgery in Turkey instead of the UK. There is some remarkable quality care and value in Turkey, unlike the "Great" Britain, which seems to only prioritize high taxes and delay proper medical services to its taxpayers. "It’s absolutely fabulous!"
First of all, I would just like to say that Dr Fehmi Doner is the best surgeon in the world! I had a rhinoplasty at Medical Promise Hospital almost 10 months ago and I must say that it was really the best decision I’ve ever made. I had my fears and doubts but as soon as sat down with Dr Fehmi Doner I was positive I’ve made the right decision.
The procedure was basically painless and within the first ten days, I was already back to my regular everyday activities. Now, after almost a year, I can really see how my nose changed even more and it looks amazing. It’s absolutely fabulous!
The clinic is fabulously equipped, modern, clean and at a really lovely location! It’s an extremely lovely and relaxing surrounding. Would really recommend to everybody who wants to get some work done!

My surgeon, Dr. Satankova, is about her business! She is clearly an expert in the field and knows what she is doing!! I had chin lipo and bichectomy.
What could have been better was the communication the day of my procedure. I was told that I would have to wait until my time came and I definitely understood that an exact time could not be given, but I waited for 4 hrs without any word (preop). Postop, I was told that I would only need to wait in recovery for 1 hr. I had to contact the nurse after the second hr to ask when I would be discharged.
Other than that I had a positive experience overall. The liaison that helped schedule the procedure (Mariya) was very nice and helped me find a new date when the original date had to be cancelled.

My doctor was fantastic!
My doctor was fantastic! He has 30 years of experience and gave me beautiful results. The hospital stay was okay - I think some of the nurses could be more kind in my opinion. Ways to improve - give more clear communication and not rush the process. The only issue I had was the language barrier which caused some miscommunication.

From initial stages of contact with Abdul in Bookimed things went very smoothly. He explained in great detail the procedure, costs, extras included. Extremely efficient. The hotel was of a lower standard than I expected, but clean and food was very good. The surgeon was clear and straight forward and managed my expectations very well given my body shape. Nursing and care staff were exceptionally kind. I had a tummy tuck and liposuction, and results far exceeded my hopes and dreams. I would strongly recommend Bookimed and Dr. Ergin.
