Burcin Batman

Associate Professor Burcin Batman is a gastrointestinal specialist at Hisar Hospital Intercontinental. He has participated in over 1,000 obesity and metabolic surgeries. Dr. Batman founded the General Surgery Department at Istinye University Faculty of Medicine.

Dr. Batman treats obesity and metabolic disorders. He performs procedures including gastric sleeve surgery and Roux-en-Y gastric bypass. The doctor also uses endoscopic techniques for gastric balloon applications — a non-surgical method that places a saline-filled balloon in the stomach to limit food intake.
