What worried me most was the recovery process and how I would feel after the operation. But actually, I feel better than I expected. The surgeon inspired a great deal of confidence right from the start: he showed me which part of my stomach would be removed and explained realistic expectations regarding weight loss, which was very important to me. I was particularly touched that he came to see me in person after the procedure. The operation itself was laparoscopic, and I only spent two nights in the clinic. Even after I was discharged, the team haven’t been out of touch — they’re always available if I have any questions.

My main concern was the period following the operation, and I have to admit it wasn’t easy. The hardest part for me was having trouble eating. The swelling around my jaw is still noticeable, and I feel a lot of stiffness and tension in my neck when I turn my head. But despite these temporary discomforts, I can already see a noticeable improvement in the jowls, which gives me great hope. The surgeon used the extended SMAS lift technique. The whole team did a brilliant job. I would recommend this clinic.

If you’re considering a dental implant, here are my honest impressions from the initial healing phase. I had a Straumann implant with a diameter of 4.8 mm fitted, and the whole process went very smoothly. I’m not experiencing any discomfort. The gum tissue around the implant is healing visibly well, and I have no problems chewing as long as I take care to avoid hard foods – which is currently the biggest adjustment. The care provided by the surgeon and the entire staff was consistently professional and well organised.

The clinic is wonderful, everything is modern and clean. People are kind and helpful, they will help and advise you in everything. The doctor I went to is a professional in his business, immediately understood my request and the next day was the operation, he did a great job. The nurses are wonderful and caring girls, they always checked my condition and took care that everything was good. The girl who helped me in the clinic and with the transfer and passed the doctors with me, was always in touch and helped with any questions. I am very happy that I came to this clinic and to the people who are doing a great job.
