He graduated from Ankara Science High School and went on to complete his Internal Medicine internship at London Ealing General Hospital, as well as his compulsory service as a general practitioner in Siirt 1984-1986. He then completed his residency in Haydarpaşa Numune Hospital, Radiodiagnostics Department, and graduated from Anadolu University, Department of Business Administration. He received his titles of associate professor and professor in the field of Radiodiagnostics and has published 47 articles, 14 of which are abroad and 33 of which are domestic. He is currently working as Dean of Maltepe University Faculty of Medicine and Head of Radiology Department and is a member of the Turkish Radiology Association, Medical Imaging and Interventional Radiology Association.
He was born in Zonguldak in January 1961. He completed his primary and secondary education in Tokat and Edirne. He passed the entrance exam and continued his high school education in Ankara Science High School between 1976-1978. He ranked seventh in the Science score on University Entrance Examination.
During his university education, he received the Presidential Honor Scholarship for being the first in the Tübitak scholarship exam.
He did his Internal Medicine internship at London Ealing General Hospital. He completed his compulsory service as a general practitioner in Siirt 1984-1986.
In 1986, he started his specialization training in Haydarpaşa Numune Hospital, Radiodiagnostics Department. During her residency, she worked as a rotationist for 12 months on computed tomography, angiography and interventional radiology in the Radiology Department of Istanbul Medical Faculty. He became an expert in August 1989. In September 1989, he was appointed as the chief assistant to the same hospital.
He graduated from Anadolu University, Department of Business Administration, which he started in 1985.
He received the title of associate professor in the field of Radiodiagnostics in the exam he took in 1991. In June 1993, he passed the examination of the Ministry of Health and was appointed as assistant chief to the Radiology Service of Haydarpaşa Numune Hospital.
In 1995 he attended Tabar's Mammography course in San Diego.
In 1998, he passed the examination of the Ministry of Health and was appointed chief of the Radiology Service of Siyami Ersek Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery.
He received the title of Professor in radiology in 2004.
He has a total of 47 published articles, 14 of which are abroad and 33 of which are domestic, 34 of his speeches as invited guests in various congresses, symposiums, panels and courses, 21 domestic statements, 8 international and 48 domestic posters. He has chapter authorship in five books. His published articles have been cited as references in more than 20 foreign books and various publications abroad.
He is still working as Dean of Maltepe University Faculty of Medicine and Head of Radiology Department.
He is a member of the Turkish Radiology Association, Medical Imaging and Interventional Radiology Association.
