Professor Thomas Binder is a specialist in internal medicine and cardiology and has trained at several medical institutes. Dr. Binder's research work brought him to the Huntington Memorial Research Institute in Pasadena, California. He is the author of several medical articles in renowned national and international journals, and has contributed to many publications in specialized medical literature. The focus of his research is the field of cardiac imaging techniques, especially heart ultrasound (echocardiography).
In 2000 Dr. Binder acquired his postdoctoral lecture qualification and an additional specialization degree in cardiology from the European Heart Association (ESC).
