The biggest disappointment was the clinic itself. I have no complaints about the doctor or the staff; they were professional and attentive. However, the conditions of my stay were simply awful, and this, unfortunately, completely overshadowed all the positive impressions I had of the medical staff’s work. It’s very disappointing. No matter how good the doctor is, the environment you find yourself in plays a huge role in the whole process. Ultimately, despite the team’s competence, I cannot give a high overall rating due to the state of the clinic, which made the whole experience extremely negative.

Dr. Yatip Mukdaloy is a nephrologist and researcher based in Bangkok. He secured first place at RCPT 2017 for his method to estimate sodium intake. Dr. Mukdaloy focuses on internal medicine and nephrology. He treats chronic kidney disease and provides hemodialysis — a procedure where a machine filters waste from the blood. The specialist performs kidney biopsies to diagnose renal tissue disorders. He also treats patients undergoing nephrectomy, which is the surgical removal of a kidney.

Additionally, he helps patients receiving urethroscopic lithotripsy. This procedure uses a scope and laser to break up kidney stones. Dr. Mukdaloy applies research-backed protocols to improve outcomes for Thai kidney transplant recipients.
