Dr. Yashkov is the president of the Russian Bariatric Surgery Society and the European Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders. He is also a member of the executive board of the International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity. Every 5 years, the professor undergoes an internship in leading European and American clinics.
