I am a specialist in Orthopedics and Traumatology of the Musculoskeletal System. 

For 7 years I have been cooperating with the Junior High School Youth Sports Training Centre in Lublin, taking care of young football school students. At the same time, I work closely with the players of the Górnik Łęczna football club. In 2018, I completed a prestigious internship in the field of traumatology of the musculoskeletal system at Landeskrankenhaus-Universitätsklinikum Graz, where, under the supervision of the best specialists, I improved my surgical skills in the treatment of musculoskeletal system injuries. I participate in many conferences and trainings both in Poland and abroad. I am actively involved in scientific development, which is manifested in scientific cooperation with the Lublin University of Technology in the development and testing of innovative medical devices. In everyday life, I am an active athlete, by which I mean the need for quick and effective treatment for both professional and amateur athletes. Since 2014, I have had the qualifications of a ski instructor at the PI level, and since 2003, the qualifications of a WOPR rescuer. The doctor graduated from the Medical University of Wroclaw and received a postdoctoral degree from the Medical University of Lodz. Gaining experience in Poland, Germany, Switzerland, and Sweden, the doctor specializes in diagnosing and treating deformities and infections of the knee, hip, shoulder, spine, hand, and foot. Expertise includes surgical treatment of joint endoprosthesis infections and bone inflammation, performing hip and knee replacements, carpal tunnel surgeries, and more. A member of several scientific societies, the doctor has lectured extensively on orthopedic revision surgeries and complications.

The doctor graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the Medical University of Warsaw and began working at the Carolina Medical Center in 2007. In 2019, the doctor became a specialist in Orthopedics and Traumatology of the musculoskeletal system.

Specializing in the treatment of overload injuries, the doctor is an experienced surgeon who prioritizes non-surgical options such as injections of hyaluronic acid, platelet-rich plasma, and Orthokine before considering surgery.

The doctor is a specialist in neurosurgery, focusing on surgical treatment of brain and spine diseases and interventional pain management. A graduate of the Faculty of Medicine at the Medical University, the doctor is a certified instructor in endoscopic spine surgery. Specialization training was completed at the Department of Neurosurgery of the Medical University of Warsaw and the CMKP in Warsaw. With over 2500 surgeries performed, the doctor has extensive experience in brain tumor surgeries, including gliomas and skull base tumors, as well as endoscopic and classical approaches to spine surgeries.

The doctor also handles instrumental stabilization of the spine, artificial disc insertion, and complex procedures like apical-occipital decompression and microvascular decompression. Additional expertise includes cranial base surgeries, treatment of hemangiomas, aneurysms, hydrocephalus, and spinal cysts. Interventional pain treatments include spinal blockades, thermolesion, and spinal stimulator implantation.

I am a graduate of the Medical University of Warsaw, a specialist neurosurgeon. I gained my professional experience in the Neurosurgery Clinic of the MSWiA Hospital in Warsaw, the Neurosurgery Clinic of the 2nd Faculty of Medicine of the Medical University of Warsaw, the Institute of Experimental and Clinical Medicine of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

I perform a wide range of neurosurgical operations, including spine surgery. I am also a long-time academic lecturer, co-author of several articles and congress presentations. I have participated in numerous national and international congresses and trainings, including in the field of endoscopic spine surgery.

Dr. Mikolaj Wrobel is an orthopedic surgeon who treats knee, ankle, and foot joint conditions. He manages many types of musculoskeletal injuries, such as dislocations, fractures, and tendon or muscle damage. Dr. Wrobel performs various surgical procedures. These include arthroscopic surgeries, ligament and cartilage reconstruction, lower limb osteotomies, meniscus repairs and transplants, and revision surgeries.

He is skilled in knee joint replacement (arthroplasty) with robotic assistance. He also provides surgical care for bone infections. Dr. Wrobel uses advanced technologies in his practice, including robotics and 3D printing. He treats patients starting from age 7.

Dr. Filipek is a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine of the Medical Academy in Krakow, where he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in 1977, in 1980 he obtained the first degree of specialization in general surgery, and in 1986 the second degree in urology. In 1999 he obtained the degree of doctor of medical sciences. 

Professional experience 

Dr. n. med. Marek Filipek serves as the Head of the Urology Department of the Independent Specialist Western Hospital in Grodzisk Mazowiecki. He created from scratch one of the most modern and best equipped urology departments in Poland. For many years, Dr. Filipek was associated with the Urology Clinic of the Jagiellonian University Medical College, where he worked as a senior assistant and lecturer. In the years 2000-2006, he was the head of the Urology Department of the St. Luke Provincial Hospital in Tarnów.

Certificates 

He participated in many scientific and advanced courses. He spent internships and scholarships in many prestigious foreign urology centers, including the Professor F. Debruyne Urology Clinic in Nijmegen. In 2014, Dr. Filipek completed training in Focal-One HIFU, with Dr. Albert Gelet, at the Hospices Civils de Lyon Edouard Herriot Hospital, in Lyon, France. In the same year, in April, the doctor also participated in the course of the European School of Urology “Focal therapy in prostate cancer” in Stockholm. 

Scientific activity

Dr. n. med. Marek Filipek is a member of the Polish Urological Society (in 1997 he was the Vice-President of the Krakow Branch of the PTU). He is also a full member of the European Urological Society. He has also been awarded many times for his scientific activity and achievements in the field of urology (winner of, among others, the 1st PTU award and the Prof. Zew Wajsman award). The scientific achievements of Dr. n. med. Marek Filipek include several dozen publications and papers presented at Polish and foreign congresses and conferences. He is the author of over 30 publications and papers published, among others, in Urologia Polska or presented at the congresses of the Polish Urological Society and the European Urological Society. He has also participated in international, multi-center clinical trials many times. Every year Dr. Filipek also participates in the meetings of the American Urological Association.

Dr. Marcin Nowak is a plastic and hand surgeon. He graduated from the Medical University of Warsaw. He completed his plastic surgery training in 2010 at Orłowski Hospital in Warsaw. He then worked for eight years as an assistant there and at the Postgraduate Medical Education Center under Prof. Józef Jethon.

He performs breast augmentation, breast lifts, breast reductions, abdominoplasty, rhinoplasty, and facelifts. He has extensive experience in surgical treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome. He has completed many courses in Europe and the United States. He is active at national and international congresses and has authored publications in plastic and general surgery.

Dr. Rafał Marszałek is a general, oncologic, and bariatric surgeon. He specializes in minimally invasive and laparoscopic techniques. He leads the General Surgery Department at the Hospital in Legionowo, affiliated with the Military Medical Institute. He has many years of clinical experience from leading centers in Warsaw and the region.

As department head, he applies current treatment standards and advances modern surgical practice. The unit performs a high volume of procedures each year and provides full perioperative care. His key focus is bariatric surgery. He manages patient qualification, selects tailored laparoscopic methods, and provides postoperative monitoring. The goal is durable weight loss and reduced obesity‑related risk. His work also includes hernia repair, gallbladder surgery, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, breast surgery, and oncologic procedures.
