Dr. Oaknin earned her medical degree and MD in Medical Oncology from Complutense University of Madrid. She also holds a PhD from Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona.

Dr. Oaknin is Co-Chair of the GEICO Group. She is a faculty member for the Gyn-Track in the European Society of Medical Oncology. She represents Spain in the GOG and GCIG committees.
