The founder of Smile Academy, Dr. Dr. Yaprak Kalkan was born in Istanbul in 1988. She graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry in 2011. She went to Turku University in Finland to carry out the experiments of her studies on diabetic patients during her doctorate, which she started in the Department of Periodontology of the same university. After working in corporate and VIP health institutions such as Maslak Acıbadem Hospital, she planned to open her own clinic to take her profession to a different point and laid the foundations of Smile Academy.
