Prof. Dr. Emre Sivrikoz is a FEBS-certified colorectal surgeon with international training. He completed fellowships at the University of Southern California and St Mark’s Hospital in London through an ESCP scholarship. He holds the Fellow of the European Board of Surgery in Coloproctology, a distinction earned by few surgeons in Europe.

Dr. Sivrikoz specializes in minimally invasive colorectal surgery. He is experienced in advanced laparoscopic and robotic procedures, such as proctocolectomy with J-pouch and extralevator abdominoperineal resection. These techniques help improve safety and recovery times for cancer surgery. He has published over 30 articles in international journals and has presented at more than 20 global surgical congresses.

Besides his work in colorectal surgery, Dr. Sivrikoz is skilled in hernia repair, gallbladder surgery, thyroid surgery, and advanced proctology laser procedures. He has a strong academic background from Istanbul Erkek Lisesi in Germany and brings extensive international experience to his practice.

Prof. Dr. Selami Sozubir is a pediatric surgeon and pediatric urologist. He specializes in pediatric genitourinary reconstructive surgery, hypospadias, congenital urinary system abnormalities, pediatric abdominal surgery, oncological surgery, and newborn surgery. He has published 43 international and 34 national articles. His academic work has earned him an h-index of 16.

Dr. Sozubir has received several awards for his contributions to medical science. He is a member of the Pediatric Surgery Association, Pediatric Urology Association, and European Pediatric Urology Association. His memberships show his dedication to high standards in pediatric surgical care.

Prof. Dr. Ozan Ozkaya is a highly respected pediatrician with specializations in Pediatrics, Nephrology, and Rheumatology. This triple expertise is uncommon in the medical field. He has over 30 years of experience. Dr. Ozkaya provides thorough care for children with complex kidney and autoimmune diseases. His areas of focus include congenital urinary anomalies, nephrotic syndrome, juvenile idiopathic arthritis, and connective tissue disorders.

Dr. Ozkaya has served in important academic and leadership positions. He was a Professor at Ondokuz Mayıs University and an Education Supervisor at leading hospitals in Turkey. Prof. Dr. Birol Baytan is a respected pediatric hematologist. He focuses on diagnosing and treating childhood cancers, leukemia, anemia, and bleeding disorders. He graduated from Ankara University Medical Faculty in 1992. He completed his specialization at Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Child Diseases.

Prof. Baytan has published 15 articles in international journals. He has presented and published 9 full texts at international scientific meetings. He has contributed to 3 books or book chapters. He has also published 8 articles in local journals. These achievements show his strong academic presence in pediatric hematology.

Prof. Dr. Halil Ibrahim Bekler was born in Istanbul in 1960. He completed his primary school education in Istanbul. He finished High School in Saint-Joseph in 1979. In 1985 he graduated from the Istanbul Faculty of Medicine. In the same year, he started to work as a resident doctor at Tokat Akbelen Health Center. Between 1987 and 1991, he specialized in Orthopedics and Traumatology at SiSli Etfal Hospital. Between 1993 and 1994, he worked as an assistant professor at Dicle University Faculty of Medicine in Diyarbakır, Turkey. Later, he worked as the Head of the Orthopedic and Traumatology Surgery Department at American Hospital. In 1999, he studied microsurgery at Cleveland Medical Center.
He worked as a specialist in Orthopedics and Traumatology Microsurgery in many private hospitals in Istanbul. Between 2006-2007, he worked as a Hand and Microsurgery Specialist at Columbia University School of Medicine. In 2008, he became an associate professor of orthopedics at Yeditepe University Faculty of Medicine. Between 2009 and 2015, he worked as Chief of Orthopedics at Lütfi Kırdar Kartal Hospital and he trained many Assistant Specialists. He became Professor in 2016.

He performs orthopedic microsurgery procedures at Avicenna Atasehir Hospital and offers effective treatments for knee and hip prostheses in the field of Orthopedics and Traumatology.

My 34 years of medicine – which is more than half my life… After thousands of surgeries, the excitement and sense of responsibility of the first day still outweigh it. My father was a doctor, a neurologist too. I would always give the same response to those asking what I would be in elementary and secondary school: Neurosurgeon. When I started my neurosurgery residency at Haydarpaşa Numune Hospital in 1992, my childhood goal was fulfilled. Two points have always stood out from the others throughout my medical career: 1. Don’t harm anyone. 2. The most important relationship between the doctor and patient is the relationship of trust. In line with the principle of “first do no harm” in Turkish with “primum non nocere” in Latin, I have always preferred to perform secured surgeries under the microscope from smaller incisions. I didn’t perform any surgery that I wasn’t sure the patient would benefit from. So I’ve always been in a position to convince myself first of the need for surgery. Then I convince my patient. I kept in mind that the most important relationship between surgeon and patient is the relationship of trust. How can a person entrust his life to someone he saw 15 minutes ago without a relationship of trust? I cared about this relationship lasting post-surgery and even for life. I’ve had the first walks of my patients that I’ve operated in 28 years. Sometimes even after midnight many times… I’ve always cared about some patients’ feeling of their need to see their physician even at 03.00 o’clock midnight. I don’t mind giving all my patients my cell phone number. I would want my physician to be available at any time as needed. That’s what I do for my patients. In these lines, I felt the need to describe my view of medicine. Anyone who wonders anyway can reach my resume and my publications.

I graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Medicine, in 1984. After compulsory service, I traveled abroad (UK, Saudi Arabia, Greece and Russia) for a many years to study and work in the fields of gynecology and infertility. In 1997, I received my specialist training from Kartal Training and Research Hospital. Following my training, I worked at Kartal SSK hospital. In 2001, I went to Tel Aviv University in Israel and received training In Vitro Fertilization and reproductive endocrinology. After returning to Turkey, I opened my own in vitro fertilization center ( IVF Center). Following the closure of the hospital in which my IVF center was located due to economic reasons, I started practicing private medicine. A while after that, I started working as the manager of The Gynecological Oncology and IVF Center in Bodrum Acibadem Hospital. Then, I returned to Istanbul, and continued my work in private hospitals as a specialist in gynecological oncology and IVF.
Throughout my long years of experience I did over 15.000 IVF trails.

Dr. Ali Metin Gorguner is a specialist in chest diseases and thoracic surgery. He has more than 35 years of experience. He earned his medical degree from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1986. He completed his specialization at Yedikule Chest Diseases and Thoracic Surgery Center in 1992.

Dr. Gorguner worked as a specialist at Erzurum Chest Diseases and Chest Surgery Hospital. He was also a faculty member at Atatürk University for almost 20 years. During this time, he contributed to academic research and medical education. From 2013 to 2015, he served as a training supervisor at Süreyyapaşa Chest Diseases and Thoracic Surgery Training and Research Hospital. He trained many specialists in his field.
