Associate Professor Dr. Emrah Eraslan graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 2005. Prof. Dr. Osman İLHAN graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1978. After completing his internal medicine residency at the same faculty in 1982, he served as a senior resident at the GATA Hematology Clinic during his military service. After completing his mandatory service at SSK Ulus Hospital, he returned to Ankara University Faculty of Medicine for a subspecialty. In 1990, he became an associate professor of hematology. He worked in Genoa, Italy to increase his knowledge and experience in leukemia. He was part of the team that performed the first bone marrow stem cell transplant in Turkey. In 1996, he went to the MD Anderson Cancer Center in the USA to work on "Stem Cell Mobilization, Cryopreservation, and Transplantation." In 1996, he became a professor of hematology. In 1999, he was elected as the regional president of ESFH (European Society for Hemapheresis). Dr. İlhan, who was the founder and president of the Hemapheresis Society in 2000, joined the World Apheresis Association (WAA) in 2001. He became the President of the Turkish Hematology Association in October 2001. Dr. İlhan, who is an active member of the European Hematology Association (EHA), was a member of the accreditation committee (ECAH) for education. He played a role in the accreditation of Turkish hematologists in CME credits by participating in the accreditation of congresses and courses held in Turkey as a Provider Status. He served as the founding president of the Cellular Therapy and Regenerative Medicine Association established in 2008. He became the founding president of the Geriatric Hematology Association in 2011. He is the Honorary President of the World Apheresis Congress (WAA) held in 2012. Dr. İlhan, who previously served on drug licensing and ethics committees at the Ministry of Health, has also served as the Chairman of the Photopheresis-Apheresis Commission and the Scientific Committee for Bone Marrow Transplantation, as well as the Chairman of the National Organ Tissue Cell Coordination Board, the Scientific Board of Cord Blood, and the Stem Cell Research Board. He is the founding president of the STEM CELL FOUNDATION and has played an important role in the establishment of TURKOK (Turkish Stem Cell Donor Bank). Dr. İlhan has over 300 publications in journals registered in PubMed and more than 5000 citations. He holds the Platinum CME certificate from the European Hematology Association. He owns four brands/patents named “Kökten Çözüm (Deep Solution), Telehematoloji (Telehematology), Hemaferez (Hemapheresis), Kanser Kök Hücresi (Cancer Stem Cell)”. He is currently the President of the Ankara Medical Association. Dr. Aydoğan embarked on his medical career, graduating from Bornova Anadolu High School in 2004. Subsequently, he pursued his studies at Celal Bayar University Medical Faculty, earning his medical doctor degree in 2011. His professional journey began as a general practitioner at Şanlıurfa Birecik State Hospital. In 2012, he achieved a significant milestone by successfully passing the Medical Specialty Exam (TUS) and commencing his specialization in surgery at the Bozyaka General Surgery Department in Izmir. Dr. Aydoğan’s pursuit of excellence took him to Heidelberg University Hospital in Germany in 2015, one of the country’s top institutions, where he worked as a visiting doctor. During this period, his focus was on pancreatic and liver surgery, gaining valuable experience. In 2017, he earned the title of specialist in general surgery through his thesis, which evaluated the demographic characteristics and surgical effectiveness of patients undergoing Sleeve Gastrectomy (gastric sleeve surgery) for obesity. The years 2018 to 2019 saw him fulfill his mandatory service at Ardahan Göle State Hospital, further enhancing his experience and skills. In 2020, Dr. Aydoğan joined the team at Izmir Tepecik Training and Research Hospital, where he primarily performed cancer surgery, obesity surgery, and minimally invasive surgery, including laparoscopic procedures. In 2022, he reached another milestone in his career by establishing his own private practice. Here, he continues his medical journey, providing care independently and making a positive impact in the field of surgery and healthcare.

Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öber is a radiation oncologist with expertise in treating breast cancer. He has received training from İstanbul Üniversitesi-Cerrahpaşa and the Royal Marsden Hospital in London. He has also held a number of positions within various cancer societies and associations and has been a Board Member for the Cancer Society, Foundation for Cancer Control, and Radiation Oncology Association. He is also a Member of the Istanbul Medical Chamber Ethics Committee and the Academy of Sciences of Turkey’s Cancer Study.
