Dr. Gocmen has led several departments, including serving as Head of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Medeniyet University. He has also worked as Chief Physician at various hospitals.

He holds certification in IVF and has advanced training in robotic and laparoscopic surgery. He is also skilled in gynecological oncology. Dr. Gocmen has been a visiting lecturer at Mayo Clinic and received specialized training in France. He is recognized for his many accreditations and his contributions to women’s health.

Prof. Dr. Oya Gökmen is an expert in Reproductive Medicine with 45 years of experience. She specializes in IVF, endometriosis, and assisted reproductive technologies. Dr. Gökmen has performed thousands of procedures, including embryo cryopreservation, sperm donation, and IVF with gender selection. Her work has played a key role in advancing reproductive medicine in Turkey.

Dr. Gökmen led the first hospital in Turkey to receive ISO 9001 certification. She also helped Zekai Tahir Burak Training and Research Hospital earn the EFQM European Excellence certificate. She is a professor at Giresun University. Dr. Gökmen has served as president of the Turkish Gynecology Obstetrics Society and was the founding president of the Ankara Gynecological Association.

In 2018, he began working at Istinye University Health Practice and Research Hospital Gaziosmanpaşa as “medical director, specialist in anesthesiology and resuscitation and sub-specialist in intensive care”. He continues to hold this position.
