Dr. Eserdag has specialized in obstetrics and gynecology for the last 25 years and is one of the pioneers of aesthetic gynecology in Europe. Based mainly in Istanbul, and also in Ankara and Izmir, Turkey.
He trained at Zekai Tahir Burak Women’s Health and Educational Hospital, the largest maternity hospital in Turkey.
Dr. Eserdag, in 2014, passed the board exam organized by the European Society for Sexual Medicine (ESSM) and the European Federation of Sexology (EFS) to become Turkey's one of first “Fellow of European Committee of Sexual Medicine” (FECSM) gynecologists.
In 2015, he established the “HERA Vaginismus Treatment, Education and Research Association”, the first national non-governmental organization in the field of vaginismus. He trained physicians and health professionals within the scope of this association.
Dr. Eserdag has received training from many leaders in the field during his vaginismus and genital aesthetics journey that started in the early 2000s. He acquired unique training experiences from some of the world’s most renowned experts when aesthetic genital surgery was in its infancy. Prof Adam Ostrzenski (Florida / USA-2011),ECAMS (Athens / Greece-2015),and Dr. Red Alinsod (California / USA-2016) are some of the mentors and organizations that he received training from. Through his own pioneering work, artistic skill and focus, he has refined and modified several techniques in order to offer to his patients the most effective treatments and the most beautiful results.
Assoc. Prof Eserdag is the inventor of the techniques of Inverted-Y Plasty procedure in clitoral hoodoplasty operations and Vestibulo-Introital Tightening Technique (VITT) in hymenoplasty surgeries in the literature. Many national and international studies of him on vaginismus have also been published in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Süleyman Eserdağ has more than 25 international articles, most of which are published in pubmed list and SCI journals.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eserdag became a senior faculty member at ECAMS (European College of Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery) based in Ireland in 2015. Between 2015 and 2017, he gave hands-on genital aesthetics courses in Istanbul and in Vienna.
In 2017, he left this faculty and founded “ISAGSS (International Society of Aesthetic Genital Surgery and Sexology)”. In this association within the scope, Turkey, Northern Cyprus, India, Pakistan, UAE, Azerbaijan, The Philippines and Indonesia in as many countries, has provided one to one training of more than 1000 physicians from different countries. He organized two International RAGSS (Reconstructive Aesthetic Genital Surgery and Sexology) congresses in Istanbul in 2018 and 2019.
He was awarded the ‘Global Health Hero’ by StemMAX (International Stem Cell Association) on April 30, 2021.
Assoc. Prof. Süleyman Eserdağ, MD is a member of the scientific committee of ‘International Association of Aesthetic Gynecology and Sexual Wellness (IAAGSW)’. He is an active member of ESSM (European Society of Sexual Medicine) and ISSM (International Society for Sexual Medicine). He also works as a part-time lecturer at Altinbas University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
In 2020, he published the book “Sexual Medicine and Genital Aesthetics”, which he shared the editorship with two colleagues.
In 2021, he published the book “Female Aesthetic and Functional Genital Surgery”. This book has become the first book published in Turkey specifically in the genital aesthetics field, raised to much global interest, and after two months it’s been printed in English. In 2023, second edition of this book has been published by Springer bookstore (Switzerland).
He also wrote many chapters for international and national books. The books of “Basic Principles in Gynecology”, “Obstetric and Gynecological Emergencies”, “Sexual Medicine and Genital Aesthetics”, “Urology Practical Tips”, “Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation in Pelvic Health, Before and After Menopause”, and “Menopause” are some of them.

He was born in 1985 in Antalya. He completed his primary and secondary education in Antalya. Between 2003 and 2009, he studied at the Cerrahpaşa Medical Faculty of Istanbul University. In 2009, he started his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Istanbul Suleymaniye Obstetrics and Pediatrics Education and Research Hospital. During his residency, he worked in obstetrics, Gynecology, Oncology, Endoscopic Surgery, Perinatology (high-risk pregnancy), Infertility and Menopause units.
In 2011, he spent two months in India studying actively on laparoscopy at World Laparoscopy Hospital. In 2014, he received the title of Obstetrician and Gynecologist. In the same year, he came 2nd in Turkey in the examination for Minor Specialty in Medicine and started his minor residency in Gynecological Oncology Surgery at Istanbul University Cerrahpasa Faculty of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
In 2017, he worked for three months at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, United States. In 2018, he became a minor specialist in Gynecological Oncology Surgery. In the same year, the European Society of Gynecological Oncology awarded him the personally accredited European Gynecologist Oncologist certificate (3rd person in Turkey). For about 1.5 years, he served at Gazi Yaşargil Training and Research Hospital under the Obligation of Civil Service. In 2019, he participated in active surgery and cadaver work together with Michael Höckel, one of the pioneers of Gynecological Oncology at the University of Leipzig, Leipzig, Germany. That same year, he was a “visiting fellow” at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome, Italy.
He was awarded the title of Associate Professor in August 2019. He participated in numerous national and international congresses, symposiums and workshops and served as guest speaker. His surgery videos have been selected as training videos by the European Society of Gynecological Oncology and are published on their site for doctors.
He has 56 international and 10 national publications. He was the editor of the Turkish translation of the book, which is considered the main international source in Gynecological Oncology. He is the author of 7 chapters of international and national books. He has over 100 works in Turkey and abroad as oral presentations, poster presentations and panel presentations. He is refereeing for internationally respected journals. He has a good command of English. He follows up and implements all developments in his field.
Assoc. Prof. Ozdogan, M.D., Ph.D., completed his education at Yeditepe University Health Sciences Institute in the Molecular Medicine Doctorate Program under Prof. Dr. Turgay İsbir, and he also studied at Saint Louis University in Arkansas, USA, with Prof. Dr. M. Gazi Yasargil. He pursued a Clinical Fellowship in Brain and Nerve Surgery at Yeditepe University Hospital, guided by Prof. Dr. Yasargil and Prof. Dr. Uğur Türe. Additionally, he underwent specialization training at Ufuk University Faculty of Medicine, the Faculty of Medicine at Gazi University, and completed his secondary education at İçel Anatolian High School.
Professionally, he has held various positions, including Faculty Member in the Department of Neurosurgery at Haliç University, and Associate Professor at Private Adatip Istanbul Hospital and Biruni University Hospital. He has also served as an Associate Professor at S.B.U. Kartal, Sancaktepe, and Istanbul Training and Research Hospitals, and worked as a Chief Assistant at S.B.U. I graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Medicine, in 1984. After compulsory service, I traveled abroad (UK, Saudi Arabia, Greece and Russia) for a many years to study and work in the fields of gynecology and infertility. In 1997, I received my specialist training from Kartal Training and Research Hospital. Following my training, I worked at Kartal SSK hospital. In 2001, I went to Tel Aviv University in Israel and received training In Vitro Fertilization and reproductive endocrinology. After returning to Turkey, I opened my own in vitro fertilization center ( IVF Center). Following the closure of the hospital in which my IVF center was located due to economic reasons, I started practicing private medicine. A while after that, I started working as the manager of The Gynecological Oncology and IVF Center in Bodrum Acibadem Hospital. Then, I returned to Istanbul, and continued my work in private hospitals as a specialist in gynecological oncology and IVF.
Throughout my long years of experience I did over 15.000 IVF trails.
Dr. Osman Aktas has been serving as a general surgeon at Ataşehir Avicenna Hospital since 2005. Born in Kayseri in 1960, he graduated with his medical degree from Ankara University in 1983. Following his graduation, he fulfilled his military service in medical units for two years. He completed his general surgery residency at GATA from 1986 to 1990. After specializing in general surgery, He held key positions as head of general surgery departments and chief physician in several prominent military hospitals, including Tatvan, Diyarbakır, Ankara, and Manisa.
Dr. Osman has had a special focus on endoscopic surgery since 1995. He received advanced training in laparoscopic surgery techniques in Germany and has successfully performed a wide range of laparoscopic procedures. His expertise extends to gallbladder surgery, abdominal wall and inguinal hernia repairs, appendicitis, reflux and stomach surgeries, as well as complex cases such as gastrointestinal tumors, intestinal obstructions, and various other intestinal diseases, all managed through minimally invasive methods.
In 2002, Dr. Osman transitioned to the private sector, where he broadened his practice to include modern treatments for anal diseases like hemorrhoids, fistulas, and fissures, utilizing advanced techniques such as laser therapy.
Dr. Osman is also recognized for his significant contributions to oncological surgery. He has a wealth of experience in the surgical treatment of various cancers, including breast and thyroid cancer, where he has implemented new treatment methods that reduce the risk of complications. His surgical expertise spans critical cancer surgeries, such as the Whipple procedure for pancreatic cancer, colorectal cancer resections, gastric cancer, and other complex malignancies. Additionally, his skills in metabolic surgery have led to lasting outcomes for patients suffering from obesity and diabetes, ensuring a better quality of life through sustained weight loss and reduced risk of diabetes.
With his vast experience and advanced skills in both laparoscopic and cancer surgeries, Dr. Osman remains at the forefront of surgical excellence, offering innovative and comprehensive care to all his patients.
