Prof. Kıvanç Derya Peker completed his medical education and general surgery specialization at Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine (Çapa). After his major specialization, he got his Gastroenterology Surgery Specialization from the Gastroenterology Surgery Clinic of Kartal Koşuyolu Yüksek İhtisas Training and Research Hospital by entering the top 3 in the minor examination.

During his sub-branch assistantship, he received a scholarship from the Turkish Surgery Association and worked at Mayo Clinic (Rochester, USA) Hepatopancreatobiliary Surgery Clinic and Obesity-Metabolic Surgery Clinic. After returning to Turkey, He was one of the founders of the Hepatopancreatobiliary Surgery unit at Bakırköy Dr. Sadi Konuk Training and Research Hospital. Peker provided Hepatopancreatobiliary Surgery training to general surgery residents and gastroenterology surgery residents in this hospital, which is accepted as a training unit by the Turkish HPB Association.

Prof. Dr. Erdem Akbal was born in 1978 in Kırıkkale. In 2015, he received training at the Johns Hopkins Hospital Advanced Endoscopy Unit, focusing on Endoscopic Ultrasonography and advanced endoscopic procedures. In 2017, he trained at the Amsterdam Academic Medical Center in techniques such as endoscopic submucosal dissection, endoscopic mucosal resection, diffuse esophageal spasm, and endoscopic full-thickness resection for treating early-stage gastrointestinal system tumors. He also received training in high-resolution manometry and POEM (Peroral Endoscopic Myotomy) for diagnosing esophageal diseases like achalasia. Dr Ozates was born in 1966 in Birecik district of Sanliurfa in Turkey. He completed his primary and secondary education in my hometown, Birecik. He got into Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 1983. After 6 years of successful education, he started Radiology education at Dicle University Faculty of Medicine by passing the Medical Specialization Examination (TUS) in the same year I graduated in 1989.

Between 1993 and 1995, he worked as a Radiology Specialist in various hospitals in Gaziantep. He passed the Assistant Professorship exam and started to work as a faculty member at Dicle University in 1995.

Dr. Kayihan Engin is a Radiation Oncologist. He earned his medical degree from Uludağ University Medical College in 1983. He completed his residency in Radiation Oncology at the Center of Oncology & Nuclear Medicine in Istanbul in 1990. From 1990 to 1994, he pursued a post-doctoral fellowship in Thermoradiotherapy at Thomas Jefferson University in the USA.

Dr. Engin has held key academic and leadership roles. He served as Professor, Chairman, and Faculty Accreditation Coordinator at Uludağ University Medical College from 1991 to 2005. He was also Professor and Director at Anadolu Medical Center between 2004 and 2017. Since 2017, he has led the Oncological Sciences departments at Ceylan International and Medicana Bursa Hospitals. Dr. Muharrem Coskun is a specialist in gastroenterology. He completed postgraduate training in Internal Medicine and a Gastroenterology Fellowship at Istanbul Cerrahpaşa School of Medicine. Following his graduation, he served in Gole/Ardahan for two years. He started his internal medicine training at the Department of Internal Medicine, Gülhane Faculty of Medicine.
After completing his training, he worked as an internal medicine specialist in Ankara. A year later, he began additional training in the Department of Gastroenterology at Gülhane Faculty of Medicine and completed his training in 2014.
After graduation, Yusuf Serdar Sakin continued to work in the same department. He also received advanced endoscopy and Motility training at AMC Center in the Netherlands in 2017.
