Prof. Dr. Ali Vefa YÜCETÜRK was born in Aydın in 1963. He graduated from Hakimiyetimilliye Primary School in 1974, Izmir Private Turkish High School in 1980, and graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 1986.

After completing his compulsory service at Adıyaman's Çelikhan District Health Center in 1986-89, he specialized in Ear Nose and Throat Diseases at Karadeniz Technical University Faculty of Medicine between 1989-92 and worked in the same clinic as a specialist until 1994. KKK in 1993. He did his military service at Izmir Military Hospital.

He started working as an ENT faculty member at Celal Bayar University Faculty of Medicine in 1994, and became an associate professor in 1999 and a professor in 2005.

In 1996, he carried out studies and research on larynx and parotid surgery at the ENT Clinic of the University of Ferrara, Italy, with Prof. Dr. Carlo Calearo and Prof. Dr. Antonio Pastore.

He is a member of the Turkish Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery Association and the Laryngology Association.

He supervised four theses on laryngeal cancer, inner ear hearing loss and snoring-sleep apnea.

He participated in more than 40 congresses, courses and meetings at home and abroad as a speaker and participant.

He has 18 scientific articles published in international and 31 national journals, 11 international and 35 papers presented in national meetings, and 5 copyrighted book chapters. In particular, his studies on snoring, obstructive sleep apnea, voice diseases, laryngeal cancer and ear microsurgery have been at the forefront.

Op.Dr., who worked as a visiting doctor at the Ear Nose and Throat Clinic of the University of Vienna, Austria, in 1998. Ümit Filiz speaks English and German.

He is a member of the Turkish Ear Nose Throat Head and Neck Surgery Association, the Turkish Ear Nose Throat Head and Neck Surgery Foundation, the Turkish ENT Facial Plastic Surgery Working Group, the Turkish Sleep Research Association and the European Sleep Research Association Aviation Medical Association.

He received the “Flight Medicine” certificate at the Eskişehir Aerospace Medicine Physiological Training Course within the Air Force (8 October – 16 November 2001). Aesthetic and functional nose surgery, endoscopic sinus surgeries and snoring and apnea surgery are his special areas of interest.

After he completed his University in Dicle University Medical Faculty, he has specialized in ENT Clinic in Izmir Education and Reseacrh Hospital. Following he worked in Aydin Medline Hospital as ENT Specialist. Since May 2012 he began working at Private ENTO ENT Medical Center and still continue to work there.He is a highly skilled specialist in the treatment of protruding ears (otoplasty) and a broad range of related ear conditions. With a deep understanding of ear anatomy and aesthetics, he is adept at correcting prominent ears, providing solutions that balance cosmetic appeal with functional outcomes. His expertise extends to the diagnosis and management of congenital ear deformities such as microtia and lop ear, as well as addressing ear trauma, keloid formation after ear piercings, and chronic ear infections that may affect both children and adults. He is committed to offering comprehensive and personalized care, utilizing advanced surgical techniques and non-surgical options to ensure optimal results for his patients.
