He earned his medical degree from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1986. He completed his specialization at Yedikule Chest Diseases and Thoracic Surgery Center in 1992.

Prof. Dr. Dilaver Taş is a pulmonologist with over 30 years of experience. He is a Professor of Pulmonary Diseases at Başkent University Istanbul Hospital. He specializes in pulmonary medicine and tuberculosis. Dr. Taş has extensive experience treating complex respiratory conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

He has served as Chief Physician at a military hospital and as a consultant in tertiary care centers. He has also worked as a faculty member in pulmonary diagnostics and interventions.
