Prof. Luigi Massimo Zagra is the Head of the Hip Surgery Department I at the IRCCS Istituto Ortopedico Galeazzi in Milan.

Professor Stefano Boriani is a world-renowned orthopedic surgeon and author of unique surgical staging system of spinal tumors and tumor resection techniques. Returning to Italy in 2011, Dr. Ferrando specialized with honors in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at the University of Turin and, again at the same University, in 2017 he completed his doctorate in biomedical sciences and oncology. Subsequently, Dr. Ferrando completed the first level Master's degree in breast surgery at the University of Ancona and is currently attending the second level master's degree in breast oncoplasty at the University of Genoa.

Currently, Dr. Ferrando works for few clinics in Turin as 2nd level Medical Director at the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery department of the C.T.O. In clinical practice he carries out all breast surgery operations, both reconstructive and oncological, those for the removal of skin tumors and for the reconstruction of congenital malformations and traumas, in addition to Aesthetic Surgery operations and the most advanced Aesthetic Medicine procedures.

Since 2007 he has been Coordinator of the Operative Unit of Orthopedics and Traumatology at Maria Cecilia Hospital and Scientific Supervisor of the Orthopedic Area of GVM Care & Research, where every year more than 1,200 cases are treated by his team of orthopedists.

He operates in the field of diagnosis and therapeutic treatment of degenerative diseases and traumatic diseases of the knee, hip, shoulder, ankle, foot, hand, spine; in the arthroscopic treatment of the wrist, hip, knee and shoulder and in major prosthetic surgery for the knee, hip, shoulder, as well as in orthopedic and physiatric rehabilitation. He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Padua, where, in 1996, he obtained the specialization in Endocrinology, Diabetology and Metabolic Diseases. In 1994 he specialized in Metabolic Diseases from the San Bortolo University Hospital in Vicenza. He is the author of more than 70 scientific publications in national and international journals and speaker at national and international courses and congresses. He is a Member of many professional bodies including the British Association of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery (BAOMS), the Italian Maxillofacial Surgery Society (SICMF), the European Association for Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery (EACMFS), the Italian Medical Society of Great Britain (IMSoGB). He has been Speaker at many national and international congresses. For Italian public television, he has given various interviews, speaking of his specialty in collaboration with the GVM Facilities.

Prof. Filippini began his career in 1980 and has been teaching at the University of Chieti since the 1990s in the fields of General Surgery, Microsurgery, Reconstructive Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Orthopedics, and Gynecology. His primary focus is oncological surgery, particularly specializing in "The surgical treatment of locally advanced tumors and multi-organ resections." He has enriched his expertise by visiting prominent reference centers in the United States, including the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan, New York City. There, he delved into minimally invasive, laparoscopic, and microsurgical techniques under the guidance of esteemed mentors such as John Daly, Michele Gagner, and Murray Brennan. Additionally, in 2005, he further expanded his skills at the City of Hope Oncology Center in Los Angeles, focusing on robotic surgery in oncology.

In 1980, Prof. Filippini graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the G. D'Annunzio University of Chieti in Italy with honors, presenting an experimental thesis on lympho-venous anastomosis using microsurgical techniques. He completed his specialization in general surgery at the University of Pisa with distinction after five years. Dr. Domenico Riitano, specialist in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery, graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 1989 and specialized in Orthopedics and Traumatology in 1994 at the University of Rome Tor Vergata. He was the coordinator and researcher of the various projects of the National Research Council on Myocardial Infarction, on the treatment of pulmonary hypertension, on new technologies for carrying out coronary, cardiopulmonary and normothermic bypass. He was an adjunct professor at the Sapienza University of Rome where he held the Chair of Cardiology II, and at the University of Ferrara, where he teaches Cardiac Surgery. He has presented numerous scientific papers at national and international congresses of cardiology and cardiac surgery.

Dr. Antonello Ceddia specializes in Neurosurgery.

He graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Rome where, in 1989, he also obtained a specialization in Neurosurgery.
