Research and Publications: Prof. Dr. Arslan has numerous publications in prestigious journals, covering topics such as the treatment of brain and spinal tumors, innovative neurosurgical techniques, and outcomes of neurosurgical interventions. His work includes studies on brain ischemia/reperfusion injury, spinal cord ischemia, and various other neurosurgical conditions.
Professional Memberships:
Op. Dr. Kemal Paksoy was born in Trabzon in 1982. In 2007, he graduated from Karadeniz Technical University Faculty of Medicine. In 2014, he completed his specialty training at Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Neurosurgery. Between 2014-2018, he worked at Rize Kaçkar State Hospital Neurosurgery Clinic. Between 2018 and 2024, he worked at Memorial Hospitals Group Spine Center. Since 2023, he has been a member of the academic staff as Dr. Faculty Member at Üsküdar University Faculty of Medicine. Since 2024, he has been working at NPISTANBUL Brain Hospital Neurosurgery Clinic.
Dr. Kemal Paksoy has also worked in many clinics in the fields of neuromodulation and algology and has participated as a participant, speaker and organizer in dozens of scientific meetings held in Turkey and abroad.
He has published in many international and national scientific journals.

Dr. Umut Dogu is a neurosurgeon with strong experience in advanced spine care. He earned his medical degree from Hacettepe University. He completed his neurosurgery residency at Dışkapı Yıldırım Beyazıt Training & Research Hospital. Dr. Dogu has worked as a specialist at Yozgat City Hospital, Emsey Hospital Advanced Spine Center, and Memorial Şişli Hospital. He currently practices at Lokman Hekim Istanbul Hospital.
Dr. Dogu treats degenerative spine diseases, traumatic spine injuries, spinal tumors, and infectious spine diseases. He also manages congenital and developmental spinal disorders. His expertise includes pain-focused procedures such as neuromodulation and vertebroplasty. Dr. Dogu is a member of the Turkish Medical Association and the Turkish Neurosurgical Society.
Dr. Ibrahim Ziyal is a neurosurgeon at Memorial Göztepe Hospital in Istanbul (2025–present). He was Professor and Head of Neurosurgery at Marmara University (2012–2025). Earlier, he held faculty roles at Hacettepe University (2001–2012). He was the Founding Head of Neurosurgery at Abant İzzet Baysal University, Düzce (1999–2001). He also worked as a clinical researcher in brain tumors at George Washington University (1996–1998). He then focused on cerebrovascular diseases at the São Paulo Institute of Neurological Sciences (1998–1999).

Dr. Eldaniz Mammadli is a Neurosurgery Specialist at Memorial Göztepe Hospital in Istanbul (2025–present). He completed a neurosurgery residency at Marmara University (2019–2025). He earned his MD from Atatürk University (2013–2019).

Dr. Halil Can is a Professor of Neurosurgery (2025; Associate Professor 2020). He completed neurosurgical training at Istanbul University–Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 2007. His clinical focus includes endoscopic and microsurgical spine surgery for fractures, tumors, and degenerative disease; advanced pain procedures; endoscopic skull base and pituitary surgery; and neurovascular, neuro-oncologic, and peripheral nerve surgery.
He has 21 international peer-reviewed papers (SCI/SSCI). Topics include cadaveric morphometry of Kambin’s triangle and the transforaminal triangular working zone, lumbar arterial and anterior approach anatomy, and an in vitro test of a new lumbar fixation device.
His clinical studies include a single-team series of 81 posterior circulation aneurysms, with 13 flow-diversion cases. He also reported five spinal cavernous malformation cases. He conducted Phase I safety and feasibility stem-cell trials in pediatric hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy and in chronic complete spinal cord injury.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Saydam Mehmet is a general surgeon at Lokman Hekim Istanbul Hospital (2025–present). His work covers oncologic, endocrine, and metabolic surgery. He performs laparoscopic surgery, including hernia repair and anti-reflux procedures. He also treats morbid obesity and type 2 diabetes. Sleeve gastrectomy is among his key procedures.
