He completed his subspecialty training in Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine, becoming a subspecialist in 2006. He served as the Assistant Chief Physician and Acting Chief Physician at the 2nd Pediatric Clinic of Dr. Lütfi Kırdar Kartal Training and Research Hospital between 2010 and 2012. In May 2012, he transferred to Marmara University Faculty of Medicine, where he became an Associate Professor in Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition in 2014, and a Professor in 2020. Alongside his international and national article authorships, he has given over 50 presentations at congresses/courses/association meetings. He retired in May 2024 while serving as the head of the Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition department at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine.
