Born in 1977, Tarık Akar, M.D., was graduated from Cerrahpaşa School of Medicine, Istanbul University in 2000. After attending the residency education at the Department of Internal Medicine, School of Medicine, Ankara University from 2000 to 2004, he was awarded the title of “Internist” in 2004. During Dr. Tarık Akar’s academic career, 19 international papers, 6 local papers, 25 local and international congress presentations He was granted Best Verbal Presentation (English) Award and Best Poster Award in 7th International Gastrointestinal System Cancers Congress.
Dr. Tarık Akar graduated from Cerrahpaşa School of Medicine, Istanbul University in 2000 and was granted the title of “Internist” in 2004. He has published 19 international papers, 6 local papers, and 25 local and international congress presentations. His fields of medical interest include Achalasia, ESD, ERCP, Zenker’s Diverticulum, and Gastroparesis.
