Wissarut Sakulpaptong, M.D., is a board-certified cardiologist and a cardiology staff member at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital. He specializes in advanced echocardiography. His work includes transthoracic and transesophageal studies, strain analysis, 3D and stress echocardiography, and imaging for congenital heart disease. He also holds an M.Sc. On his return from London, he organized and directed the Arrhythmia Unit of the Cardiology Service of the University Hospital Nuestra Señora del Pino in Las Palmas until 2000.

He later became Deputy Director of the Arrhythmia Department and Director of the Electrophysiology Laboratory at the Jimenez Diaz Foundation in Madrid.
