Dr. Afrim Vuçitërna is a specialist ophthalmologist with over 30 years of experience in Kosovo’s public healthcare system. He began his career in 1990. Dr. Vuçitërna has worked in both outpatient clinics and hospitals. He focuses on anterior segment diseases and general ophthalmology.

He completed his medical degree and specialization in ophthalmology in the former Yugoslavia. Dr. Vuçitërna is a member of the Kosovo Chamber of Doctors (Oda e Mjekëve të Kosovës). This membership shows his professional accreditation and dedication to high standards in clinical care.

Dr. Seong-Won Cho is Director of Ophthalmology and a refractive surgery specialist at Samsung Miracle Eye Clinic in Gangnam, Seoul. He is board-certified. He completed his internship and ophthalmology residency at Korea University Anam Hospital. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Boston University. He focuses on advanced vision correction, including SMILE and LASIK. He previously served as Director at Blue World Eye Clinic. He is active in several national and international ophthalmological societies and has held leadership roles. His work has made a strong impact in the field.

Since 1999, he has served as Senior Physician and Head of the Eye Clinic at the University Hospital of Ophthalmology in Vienna.

Dr. Zehetmayer has published about 100 scientific papers. His main research areas include ophthalmic oncology, corneal collagen structures, cataract surgery, and intraocular lenses. He was one of the first to use stereotactic radiosurgery (Gamma Knife, LINAC) for choroidal melanoma. He also leads the outpatient clinic for eye tumors.

He is a certified specialist in ophthalmology and optometry. Dr. Zehetmayer serves as Secretary of the Austrian Ophthalmological Society and has been President of the Vienna Ophthalmological Society. He is a university professor and an active member of several national and international professional societies.

Dr. Sasi Yaisawang, M.D., is an ophthalmologist at Bangkok Eye Hospital. She specializes in cornea and refractive surgery.

She graduated in medicine with first-class honors from Chulalongkorn University. She completed her ophthalmology residency at Khon Kaen University. She is a Ph.D. candidate. She has presented her work at the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO). She has authored medical textbooks and research articles.

Dr. Agon Rrusta is a specialist ophthalmologist with experience in over 10,000 surgeries. He performs both anterior and posterior segment procedures. Dr. Rrusta currently works at the Italian Eye Hospital in Prishtina. He previously served at the University Clinical Center of Kosovo. He is known for his skills in LASIK, cataract, corneal, and eyelid surgeries. He also provides advanced care for diabetic retinopathy and ocular oncology.

Dr. Rrusta is an active member and presenter at several international societies, including EURETINA, ESASO, ASCRS, AAO, ESCRS, ARVO, and EuCornea. Dr. Bujar Rizvanolli, MD, is an ophthalmologist at the Italian Eye Hospital in Pristina, Kosovo. He focuses on laser eye treatments and therapeutic procedures for different eye conditions. His main interests are keratoconus and modern refractive surgery, such as TransPRK and corneal cross-linking.

Dr. Rizvanolli earned his MD from the University of Pristina. He completed his ophthalmology training at the University Clinical Center of Sarajevo. He is known for his skill in non-invasive, laser-based vision correction and surface ablation, especially for patients with thin corneas.

He is also involved in public health education. Dr. Rizvanolli often takes part in campaigns and videos to help people learn about eye diseases and available treatments.

Dr. Fırat Helvacıoğlu is an experienced ophthalmologist. He specializes in cataract and refractive surgery. He graduated from Marmara University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Bakirkoy Dr. Sadi Konuk Research and Training Hospital. Dr. Helvacıoğlu is certified by the International Council of Ophthalmology. He passed both the Basic Science and Clinical Science Board Exams.

He is a member of several medical organizations, including TOA, TTB, ESCRS, ASCRS, ISRS, and ICO. Dr. Helvacıoğlu has attended more than 20 international congresses and symposiums. These include meetings of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons and the Afro-Asian Congress of Ophthalmology. Dr. Sutan Kaya is an experienced ophthalmologist. He earned his medical degree from Akdeniz University School of Medicine. He completed advanced training at İzmir Bozyaka Teaching and Training Hospital in Turkey. Dr. Kaya specializes in cataract and refractive surgery. He has notable experience in LASIK, presbyopia correction, and advanced corneal procedures.
