Dr. Necmettin Kutlu is an expert in plastic, aesthetic, reconstructive surgery, hand and maxillofacial surgery with over 30 years of experience. He holds a degree in general medicine from the Istanbul University Medical Faculty, specialty in plastic surgery from the Ankara University Medical School, and has completed research fellowships in wound healing and microcirculation from Lund University and a fellowship program in hand surgery and reconstructive microsurgery from the University of Miami Leonard M. After achieving a high degree in the national exam, Dr Hakan Tekin started his medical education at Cerrahpaşa Medical Faculty / English Department. Dr Tekin worked in the E&A Department and ICU of State Hospital in Van after graduation for two years. He started to work in Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Department at Van Yuzuncu Yil University. He was trained in many types of surgical procedures, including; microsurgery, maxillofacial surgery, congenital deformities, hand surgeries and aesthetic procedures. 

He worked in Van Training and Research Hospital as head of the Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery Department. In 2016 he started to work at Memorial Private Hospital in Diyarbakır. During my residency, I had ample opportunities to experience and perform a variety of aesthetic, reconstructive, and microsurgical procedures.

In 2014, I qualified for international proficiency in microsurgery after attending the International Microsurgery Course in Monza, Italy.

In 2015, as part of an international health service initiative organized by the Ministry of Health, I spent 10 days in Uzbekistan, where I performed numerous surgeries on cleft lips/palates and burn patients.
