Gamma Knife treatment of benign and malignant tumors is performed in Medipol Radiology Department. Specialists use Perfection Gamma Knife produced by Elekta company. It has the highest accuracy of irradiation - 0.15 mm, and healthy tissues are not affected.

The procedure lasts from 30 minutes to 2 hours. During therapy, a patient stays conscious. To make a patient comfortable, a doctor inserts light sedative drugs. After Gamma Knife treatment of brain tumors, a patient is observed by doctors.
