This advanced procedure includes complete removal of the thyroid gland together with surgical removal of affected neck lymph nodes when clinically indicated. The operation is performed using intraoperative nerve monitoring technology to help preserve critical nerves and enhance surgical safety.
The cost includes a one-night inpatient stay in a standard hospital room with accommodation for one accompanying person. It also covers the pre-operative anesthesiology evaluation, routine anesthesia-related laboratory tests, daily physician visits, operating room charges, intraoperative nerve monitoring, procedure-related medical materials, medications, and standard pathology examination.
Please note that the total cost may vary depending on the medication dose used during treatment.
If any additional diagnostic tests, specialist consultations, extended pathology examinations, or specialized procedures are required during the hospital stay, these services will be charged separately.

Dr. Kemal Raşa is an experienced general surgeon with over 20 years of practice, specializing in breast cancer, pancreatic and thyroid cancer surgery, and glucose metabolism and infection treatment. He is the President of the Surgical Infection Society - Europe and a lecturer in several departments. He is also a member of The Surgical Infection Society Europe (SIS-E), The World Society of Emergency Surgery (WSES), The World Surgical Infection Society, The Turkish Medical Association and The Turkish Surgical Association.
How are we doing?
About the clinic
At Anadolu Medical Center surgeons carry out thyroidectomy in the Endocrinology Department. The operation lasts for 2-4 hours. A patient stays under general anesthesia. The procedure is considered low-risk and not complex. The success rate is estimated to go up to 95%. In most cases, patients are dismissed from the hospital on the day of the operation. Rehabilitation period is not required.
Cost of thyroidectomy surgery depends on patient’s state before the procedure, surgeons’ qualification and duration (if any) of in-hospital stay.
