Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Myasthenia Gravis, CIDP & Autoimmune Neurological Disorders Package: Advanced Blood Purification (Double Filtration Plasmapheresis, DFPP)
This package is designed for patients with selected neurological and neuroimmunological disorders who are seeking an advanced therapeutic approach to reduce inflammation and immune-mediated activity. It may be of particular interest to individuals diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS), myasthenia gravis, chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP), autoimmune autonomic neuropathies, Guillain-Barré syndrome, autoimmune encephalitis, post-viral neurological syndromes, Long COVID-related neurological symptoms, and other neurological conditions associated with immune system dysregulation.
Many neurological disorders involve complex interactions between the immune system and the nervous system. In some conditions, abnormal immune responses, circulating autoantibodies, immune complexes, and inflammatory mediators may contribute to ongoing symptoms and disease activity. Patients may experience fatigue, muscle weakness, numbness, tingling, pain, impaired balance, cognitive difficulties, visual disturbances, autonomic dysfunction, and reduced quality of life. Although conventional neurological treatments remain the foundation of care, many patients seek additional therapies such as DFPP to help address ongoing inflammatory and immune-related processes.
The core of this package is Double Filtration Plasmapheresis (DFPP), an advanced blood purification therapy that selectively removes specific substances from the bloodstream. Unlike conventional Therapeutic Plasma Exchange (TPE), which removes a portion of the patient's plasma, DFPP selectively filters the patient's plasma through specialized membranes. This allows more efficient removal of harmful substances.
DFPP may help reduce circulating immune complexes, pathogenic autoantibodies, inflammatory mediators, heavy metals, selected toxins, and other substances that may contribute to immune-mediated and inflammatory activity. By reducing the burden of these circulating factors, DFPP may help support overall neurological health and well-being as part of a comprehensive treatment strategy.
At Modern Apheresis (Nowoczesna Afereza), all procedures are performed using state-of-the-art European apheresis technology, and sterile single-use filtration systems. Each patient receives a personalized DFPP plan based on their medical history, diagnosis, disease severity, laboratory findings, current medications, and treatment goals. Throughout every procedure, patients remain under continuous supervision of experienced physicians and qualified medical staff to ensure the highest standards of safety, comfort, and care.
Package Includes
Before your arrival, our medical team will review your medical documentation, laboratory results, and treatment history. You will receive an online consultation with a physician experienced in apheresis therapies to determine whether DFPP may be appropriate for your individual situation.
Upon arrival in Warsaw, comprehensive blood testing will be performed. Following laboratory testing, a second consultation will be conducted to discuss the results and finalize your treatment plan. The following day, you will undergo one DFPP procedure.
Suggested Schedule
Prior to arrival, online consultations and review of medical documentation are completed remotely.
Day 1: Arrival in Warsaw.
Day 2 early morning: Comprehensive blood testing.
Day 3: DFPP procedure, followed by vitamin infusions.
Optional Services
Additional DFPP or LDL apheresis procedures may be arranged if medically appropriate. Hotel accommodation, airport transfers, and translation services are available upon request but are not included in the package price.
Note:
Neurological and neuroimmunological disorders often require ongoing specialist care and long-term medical management. The effectiveness of DFPP may vary between individuals depending on the underlying diagnosis, disease severity, overall health status, and concurrent therapies. Treatment recommendations are made individually following medical evaluation. DFPP should be considered as part of a comprehensive treatment approach and does not replace standard neurological care.
