Doctor
Dr. Li Ping, M.D., Ph.D., is Chief Physician and Professor in the Department of Hematology at Shanghai Tongji Hospital, Tongji University School of Medicine. She supervises doctoral and master's students and is an expert in hematologic malignancies.
She earned a Doctor of Medical Science from Nagoya University and completed postdoctoral research. She specializes in diagnosing and treating blood cancers. Her focus includes lymphoid malignancies—leukemias, lymphomas, and multiple myeloma. She treats patients with chemotherapy, hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy.
She is a pioneer in China in full-cycle CAR-T therapy for relapsed or refractory blood cancers. She leads and participates in national and international clinical trials. She serves on committees of professional societies, including the China Anti-Cancer Association. She also publishes and trains hematologists.
