Efficient emergency departement. Of course there is some waiting involved but once you've seen the nurse and the first doctor then the X Ray etc happens quickly and you get treated well. Don't expect too much comfort but the medical knowledge is good and the staff are quite professional. For urgent situations, that's quite reasonable for a public university hospital.

If you’re looking to see a Urologist and you have an urgent referral (CITA), they’ll suggest an appointment in 2 years (not a joke). I was informed that patients with oncology have priority, so maybe if you have it - they’ll consider treating you sooner.

Worst emergency experience ever. They leave you without information, make you wait for 4 5 hours ( even when people who come later than you leaves earlier than you). When you ask a question the " so called " doctor screams and goes away without listening. And when I say I consider to call an ambulance since our situation is urgent their answer is " ambulance won't come to hospital address, you have to wait "

If you are dying then maybe they will help you otherwise you could wait for ages in the queue even if you are getting paid service. I have arrived around 1PM on Saturday in very sick&weak state. The first screen (triaging) was quite OK (wait less than 30 min) and It was suspicion to COVID (using quick test). I was adviced to wait for further analyses and assignments. And I was totally ignored for 4 hours nevertheless there were not so many people. When I was asking at reception about any estimation and advice, the answer was they don't know and you should just wait... After 4.5 hours of waiting in the cold hall I just gave up...as more people begun to arrive and I concluded my chances are weak as I'm low priority (breathing stable)..I just wanted to get to the bed as I felt after all the day on the legs with 39 temperature as almost losing control of my body. So I lost half of the day without any advice on my treatment. Yes, I'm a man but not child or woman...but still a human who needs sometimes help.

We were in Kraków as tourists and got sick night before holiday. My son and myself seeked medical assistance and with the help of locals found the list of hospitals that work during holidays. went there and were met by lady at the registration who was irritated by how we don't know that they don't treat children and that we should go to children hospital first and then come back. after we finished with the children hospital, we came back for them to tell us that we have to sit and wait to see if they will admit me. they decided that they won't (which they could have told me the first time I was there) so they gave me a list of other hospitals where I could go. luckily that one had a wrong address but at least it got the neighborhood right. it is such a shame for such a beautiful building to have such unorganized staff in a city that is no 1 for tourists. (p.s. children hospital across the street is Completely opposite experience)
