He specializes in spinal surgery, spinal deformity, early onset scoliosis, and adolescent idiopathic scoliosis. He completed a two-year fellowship in pediatric spinal surgery at the University of Calgary and Alberta Children's Hospital. He has also received international training in Spain, Canada, and the USA.
Dr. Peiro García has introduced advanced spinal surgery technologies. He has led multicenter research projects to improve the management of early-onset scoliosis. His research covers surgical simulation, growing rods, magnetic rods, and VEPTR systems. He focuses on making surgery safer and more efficient.
