The Cardiac Surgery Department in San Donato Hospital is the first in Italy in terms of the number of heart operations. Every year, surgeons perform over 1,500 interventions. Aortocoronary shunting, heart stent procedures, correction and replacement of valves are carried out here.
The Edmondo Malan Research Center operates on the basis of the Department. Scientists study cardiovascular diseases there. It is the second largest Center in the world.

We successfully operated on our daughter Nika Popova at the San Donato clinic (Italy). Thank you so much for the Bookimed service for the excellent organization of the trip.
