The doctor graduated from Çukurova University School of Medicine and completed a fellowship in Pediatric Surgery at Erciyes University. With a focus on pediatric surgery, the doctor specializes in conditions such as inguinal and umbilical hernias, appendicitis, constipation, anal fissures, hemorrhoids, ingrown toenails, and ankyloglossia. The doctor has published three articles in international peer-reviewed journals and presented 13 articles at international scientific meetings. The doctor has worked at several institutions, including Erciyes University and Kahramanmaras Children's Hospital.
The doctor completed a residency in Cardiovascular Surgery at the School of Medicine, Çukurova University in 1998, specializing in a variety of surgeries including peripheral vascular, abdominal aortic aneurysm, and cardiac surgeries. In 2001, the doctor contributed to the establishment of the Cardiovascular Surgery Clinic at SSK Süreyyapaşa Hospital and founded similar clinics at Giresun and Sinop State Hospitals, performing inaugural surgical procedures.
From 2003 to 2017, the doctor served as a competent surgeon at İsviçre Hospital and Koşuyolu Heart Hospital, conducting approximately 4000 open heart surgeries. Additionally, the doctor was part of a heart transplant team, performing as the primary surgeon in 8 heart transplants.
Areas of expertise include coronary by-pass, minimally invasive heart surgery, beating heart bypass, redo valve surgery, aortic surgery, and heart transplantation.
Ahn Tae Hoon, MD, PhD, is a cardiology specialist and Director of the Cardiovascular Center at Naeun Hospital. He has expertise in coronary artery disease (angina, myocardial infarction), hypertension, valvular heart disease, heart failure, and cardiovascular interventional procedures.
He earned his PhD in Medicine from Korea University College of Medicine. He completed an Internal Medicine residency at Korea University Guro Hospital and a Cardiology fellowship at Korea University Hyehwa Hospital. He also completed clinical training at the Montreal Heart Institute.
He previously served as Professor and Director of the Cardiovascular Center at Gachon University Gil Medical Center. He was a Clinical Professor at Korea University Anam Hospital and at Chung-Ang University Gwangmyeong Hospital. His leadership roles include President of KSIC, KCCC, KVIS, and KSC. He also served as Treasurer of KSC and as Organizing Committee Chair of ENCORE SEOUL.
