Trying to get hair replacement procedure in the USA is not only expensive and behind the expertise that other countries like South Korea or in my case, Turkey, are known for. From day one, Bookimed was extremely responsive and answered all my questions quickly and expertly, while getting me the best price for my hair replacement procedure. I was initially given a quote for Istanbul Plastic Surgery Clinic, but later given an even better rate and consultation with Adem & Havva Hair Clinic. I went with the FUE hair method which is less costly than the newer DHI method, and I believe just as effective, although a little more recovery is needed by about a few days with FUE method. Do your homework on what you want done for your needs and balance the price and see what works for you. Remember that two prices are offered for either procedure: "Shaven head" and "Unshaven head," With the shaven head being the cheaper cost but I believe more sanitary. Unshaven method does look better while you heal (you keep your regular hair) but I just believe removing all hair to allow doctors a clean base for the hair procedure is the best way to go, and cheaper and more sanitary too without sacrificing quality. Your cost will vary depending on your consultation with BookImed that includes sending them pictures with specific instructions. But ultimately the amount of hair grafts you need will determine the final cost. But BookiMed will work to find the very best deal for you based on procedure you've chosen. But compare other clinics if you feel better to see that Bookimed will give you the best rate for comparable procedures from other clinics. I recommend getting to Turkey about 3-4 days early so you can sight see this beautiful country before your hair procedure. They will arrange all transportation and hotel accommodations for you if you wish extra nights and will pick you up at airport and take you to your hair procedures. I cannot stress enough that my visit and my procedure was excellent and I highly recommend Bookimed for hair and even plastic surgery procedures ( I will do a chin lift next). It has only been a week since my procedure was done and can post pics based on my current status of healing. But I have not suffered any issues or side effects and my scalp and hair are healing and growing properly. The clinic will follow my hair process for one year to ensure my hair grows out well and I am completely satisfied. I hope this review helps many of you out there. I am from Witney, Oxfordshire in the UK and I went to Hair for a beard and hair transplant and I cannot rate the professional service received from all members of the team highly enough. I am writing this review in my hotel room the day after having a beard and hair transplant. When I first decided to undergo a hair transplant in Turkey, I was inundated with offers from, what seemed to be, hundreds of hair transplant clinics through WhatsApp, and it was hard to know which clinics were the best? I decided to pick Hair in Istanbul, because I could see no negatives reviews and they were recommended to me by Bookimed. I then heavily researched this clinic online before making a decision. I could tell once I met with the medical team that I had made a good choice on coming to this clinic. This is a good clinic, and the medical team who carried out the procedure were highly skilled, professional, and considerate. Once, they started taking grafts I could tell these people know what they were doing. On my initial WhatsApp consultation, I was told they would be able to extract 3000 grafts but, they actually extracted 4800 and so they implanted some additional grafts in the crown area of my head free of charge. They implanted every single graft in which meant they took longer than scheduled. I will send the photographic results of my hair and beard transplant after 6 months has passed. I also give Hair permission to pass on my contact details to anyone who wants to contact me with questions about my experience as a client at this clinic. Dr Ana was very sweet and helpful as was her daughter Louise. Despite the language barrier they were able to communicate to me what the procedure was going to be in terms of medical tests on surgery day. The anesthetist was wonderful and easy to communicate with. The nurses who tended to me post procedure were very kind, but there was definitely a language barrier. I had hoped to be able to use my phones translator, but did not anticipate how difficult it would be for me to move after the procedure often times I would not be able to reach my phone. Once I arrived there, there were some nominal unanticipated additional costs that I was not made aware of. Specifically, $200 a night to sleep another night in the clinic when I was too swollen and sore to move and wasn't going to be able to get on a plane just yet. I stayed in a nice hotel the night before the procedure and paid only $77 for that accommodation. It would be different if they had been bringing me juice and water frequently or otherwise caring for me, but I often found myself dehydrated and lacking cold water. I appreciate that they brought me food, but all of the food that they brought me was so dry that I could not eat it because my mouth was already so dry. They were very sweet to go and get me and ice cream when I asked for a popsicle. Otherwise you got whatever they gave you, whenever they decided to give it to you. The rest of the time I was just left alone in my room, which was fine because I really was not able to move. There are times and it would have been helpful to have someone nearby to hand me lip balm from my bag, but generally I was left by myself. I am 2 weeks out from my procedure so I'm still very swollen, St iff and sore, but I can tell that the surgeon did an excellent job with my procedure. I'm very happy with the results I'm seeing so far and anticipate being even happier as the swelling goes down and my new figure fully reveals itself. This is not the same kind of experience as having cosmetic surgery in the states. There's very little consultation/ pre-op care other than the scheduling. The Aftercare is almost non-existent. I was prepared for that and so I had real significant complaints outside of the lack of pain management offered post procedure.

My coordinator Marsela, went above and beyond to research the perfect Doctor and accommodate with all of her request for the best Doctor. She always answered my questions and followed up when needed. My surgery coordinators Zeynep and Hisham were amazing and followed up and Hisham was there in person from the pre-op to post op and both were there 24 hours a day when I needed them or just to make sure I was doing good following my surgery. Dr. Emre Ozenalp is a very skilled surgeon and is amazing. The cuts he made I will have little scarring due to being a skilled surgeon. Dr. Emre and his Nurses followed up everyday to check on my status. He’s Nurses are amazing and we’re very compassionate since I am a very modest person. I was satisfied with the result, but when I contacted Estetic international clinic, first of all I was very surprised by the price, the price was two times lower than in Moscow. I was very pleased with the quality of the procedure, the attitude of the doctor, nurses, administrators. Everything went great and absolutely painless. The first time after transplantation, I had a very strong swelling, as I was cut.
