My experience was amazing. Dr Mustafa was incredible and made me feel completely at ease, and the nurses were so kind and caring throughout the whole process. My medical coordinator, Lara, was absolutely amazing and supported me every step of the way. The surgery has come out perfectly, exactly what I wanted. I couldn’t be happier with my results. I’m so grateful to the whole team for making my dream come true, and giving me my confidence back ☺️❤️. I am still slightly bruised and swollen in the “after” picture I have added, but the difference speaks for itself!!!

I felt very secure and taken care of through the entire experience. All of my inquiries were answered very promptly by both the bookiemed coordinator, the assistant, and my doctor (Dr. C Altindąg), is very experienced and talked me through what to expect and analyzed my nose very thoroughly. I breath perfectly now after surgery and my nose is a lot straighter (I had a severe deviated septum and other complications from a past surgery that he identified and corrected including a mirgrated graft and a droopy tip). I'm still quite swollen but look forward to seeing final results in a few months.

My arrival at Istanbul airport was smooth and efficient. I was met and transported to my hotel. My hotel was lovely. Transportation from hotel to hospitals on time and efficient. I met my advocate at international patient area, she had everything under control, all tests lined up and doctor appointments were fabulous. My advocate translated to my language at every appointment. I’m very happy with the service and I felt very “looked after”. My outcome is excellent and I’m so very glad I had the best doctor and best care.

I would like to thank my doctor for his careful attention to my difficult situation. The competence, careful attitude and attention to every little detail is what I really liked. Now I am still recovering and the final result is still far away, but I believe that everything will be fine. I would like to mention my coordinator-translator Jena. I liked everything overall. Initially, I was very afraid, starting with the flight to another country, the transfer to the hotel and the operation itself. But the calmness and poise of the doctor and his team completely dispelled my doubts. 5 hours after the operation I returned to the hotel. Which is also very good because the hospital ward is the worst for me. Exactly after a week I took off the splint, my nose was still swollen. The nose is proportional to my face. When the swelling goes down it will be smaller

To say that I was shocked by the doctor's approach to treatment is to say nothing. My impressions to you, just do not wish to experience. The operation was agreed in advance counselling and my wishes. The day of the operation came. In the morning I was picked up from the hotel and with an interpreter, I went through all the analyses. On the question when I will have a meeting with the doctor I was told at 9 am then I pointed out that I am allergic to one drug. But they wouldn't give me any medication before the operation without the doctor's consent. When I was already changed clothes for the operation ( I apologise myself in underwear, in an operating gown ) came the doctor and began to explain to me on his hands that it can not be like this, as I want and he sees it all differently. He began to explain to me with his fingers how it will be. Interrupting the interpreter. The interpreter couldn't keep up with the translation. Hurrying me to make a decision. I replied that I couldn't make a decision without seeing any pictures of what was waiting for me. Then after about an hour of dialogue, the doctor corrected the curvature of my nose on the telephoto in front of me and said here's what awaits you and covered the tip of my nose with his hand. Again we heard my refusal, to which I was told there is no time and I have to make a decision. They told me there was no time and I had to make a decision. My wishes were ignored. What was agreed upon before the operation was changed. My wishes were to correct the curvature and to change and reduce the tip of the nose. The result of the operation is that the curvature was not corrected and the septum remained the same. But the cartilage was grown on the side, which I did not ask for at all, and the nose was visually enlarged and the tip was corrected. Now I'm just shocked with my appearance to say the least. Everything was done at the discretion of the doctor. He ignored all my wishes. Putting me in front of the fact. Without showing me a single photo of what's in store for me. Explaining it to me on my fingers.

I would like to share my feedback about the coordinator Kristina, who assisted me from the initial inquiry until the very end. I was searching for a clinic for breast lift/augmentation. I don't recall how, but I submitted a request on Bookimed and received a response very promptly. To be honest, I wasn't planning to undergo surgery so soon; I was simply exploring clinic and doctor options to make a calm decision and perhaps have the lift in a year or more. However, Kristina immediately got involved, listened to my requests, and began providing options in various countries. Initially, I was considering the Czech Republic, but after discussing with Kristina, we decided on Turkey. She took into account my budget, selected clinics, provided reviews with before/after photos, answered countless questions, and I never once felt pressured into making a decision. I had many doubts because I had to travel to another country alone, without a companion, and feared that it might be challenging for me to manage alone, but Kristina assured me that I would receive enough support to not worry. And that's exactly how it was! From the airport meeting to my departure, everything was top-notch! The coordinator in Turkey, Sueda, all the nurses, other clinic staff, and the doctor treated me like a VIP guest! I never regretted my decision and am grateful to Kristina and Dr. Ali for quickly fulfilling my long-held dream! If I need anything else improved in my body, I'll definitely reach out to Kristina and we'll once again choose the best doctor for my request :)

I was on 29 September 2025 at Lockman hekim clinic for breast and eyelid reduction.All my fears and doubts were in vain. From the very beginning of my enquiry at Bookimed to the last taxi ride to the airport after the procedures, everything went without a single obstacle. Everything went smoothly and smoothly. We arrived very early, we were taken to the clinic and our interpreter Olga was already in touch with us. We were placed in a beautifully decorated room, on the same day all the necessary medical parameters were taken. The doctor clearly explained what would happen and how it would be done. From the first contact, the support team were very accommodating, professional and was helpful to answer any of my queries. I arrived Istanbul slightly earlier before my hair transplant date to go sightseeing, and they were able to accommodate my schedule including pickup and drop of to airport. They even went above and beyond by helping me to get a transfer from the hotel that I I initially stayed to another hotel that was provided by them. The facilities of the clinic was quite good, and they had the necessary staff that would make or break a good surgery. The Dr spoke good English, was full of empathy of how I felt about my hair, and provided a recommendation on what I needed to do in line with what I wanted to achieve. The transplant was smooth even though it was quite long. However, with the medications they give you, it's not that bad. This also depends on how many grafts you intend to do. I initially thought I was going to be in a lot of pain during and a few days after the operation, but thankfully none of that happened to me. I didn't even have swelling. All in all, I fully recommend this clinic. I'm currently on Day 3, so I have yet to see the results, but so far everything looks okay and is healing quite well

Everything was very organised, fast and I didn't even have time to get scared. Special thanks to the interpreter Valeria, she is always there, in touch 24/7. The medical staff of the clinics are attentive and responsive. Without a doubt, I would like to recommend Dr. Gökhan Bacak, he is a true master of his craft.

I was afraid to go to another country for surgery without knowing the language, but everything went well. A good interpreter accompanied me everywhere, and the hospital staff spoke English. Everything was well organised, from arrival to departure, with communication available practically 24/7. The interpreter was always available, and the doctor was very good and experienced. I liked everything. If the operation is extensive, as it was in my case, it is essential to take someone with you, as it was difficult to move around on my own in the hotel after the operation. I will only be able to assess the results of the operation later, when everything has healed.

I applied to organise a blepharoplasty procedure in July. I was offered several doctors and clinics. There was also an online consultation. After a month in Antalya, I had a consultation with a doctor at the clinic and after the operation. All this time Valeria accompanied me and was in touch with me. I am satisfied with the results.
