I was recently diagnosed with an ovarian cyst and stage 4 endometriosis, which required surgery as soon as possible. I was initially hospitalized in Bali, but the doctor there suggested I look for a better-equipped hospital as they didn’t have the necessary facilities to perform my surgery. It wasn’t easy to find the right care on a small island like Bali. Thankfully, my best friend helped me connect with a medical manager from Bookimed. That’s how we found Alisher, the medical manager and Prof. Dr. A Cem Iyibozkurt from Florence Nightingale Hospital in Istanbul. I underwent hysteroscopic removal of several endometrial polyps, including one large one measuring 3 cm. Everything went perfectly - from the initial consultation to the surgery and post-operative care. Special thanks to my doctor - Op. Dr Berna Buse Kobal. She inspired confidence from the very beginning, explained everything calmly and clearly, acted very carefully and confidently. After the operation I felt great, without pain or discomfort. The nurses and all the staff of the clinic were very attentive and helpful. The atmosphere in the hospital is clean, modern, comfortable and absolutely safe. Everything was just as Olga (Bookimed) initially told me; I am grateful to her for helping with my issue. I am currently in the recovery process, and even post-intervention, she consistently checks in on me to see how I am doing. She is a very attentive and wonderful person. The airport-clinic transfer and return was conducted flawlessly at a VIP level. The staff at Lokman Hekim Clinic acted promptly and admitted me immediately. The interpreter was ideal, providing great emotional support. Dr. Elif Esra Uyar exceeded my expectations; she paid close attention to everything. I had a problem I had been putting off for several years, and she helped me resolve it, promising that I would become a mother within three months, which gives me immense hope. It definitely deserves 10/10 not because of the facilities but because of the staff who run the place from the cleaning staff all the way to the doctors
From the start to finish, everything was perfect. I have used different clinics and hospitals in turkey but the service provided here and the care of the doctors has been the best. Aliser and Ayperi were both very caring and help with translation, Aliser was there helping with every need was very humble and caring nature. All the nurses and doctor main concern was the help and our comfort, one nurse who we thanked said no don't thank me it's my job. The doctors visited us everyday to check up and would care for all our needs, even the outpatient admin came to see if everything is ok then said she will speak to the nurses even though it wasn't her job. The airport transportation, pick up and drop off were punctual, room was spacious, clean and tidy. The room was cleaned multiple times a day and food was provided which was tasty considering its hospital. It definitely deserves 10/10 not because of the facilities but because of the staff who run the place from the cleaning staff all the way to the doctors.

Successfully myomectomy Surgery My uterus, my decision: First of all, I am genuinely grateful to Prof Cem Iyibozkurt of Florence Nightingale Istanbul for saving my uterus, which doctors in the UK have declared damaged and useless and saying that the only option for me was a hysterectomy, and I was totally against it. I recently had a successful myomectomy at the end of March 2025, which removed 81 fibroids, and the largest fibroid was a size 21x20 cm. I was diagnosed with multiple fibroids in August 2023, which were in different locations. I had a protruded stomach, and I looked like 6 months pregnant. The fibroids also pressed on my pelvic nerves, causing my left leg to swell and causing excruciating pain. They were also pressing on my internal organs, causing my kidneys to swell, and I became incontinent because they were pressing on my bladder, and I could not empty the bladder. My menstrual blood was so heavy I had to request my employer to work remotely during my menstrual month as I needed to change pads regularly or change clothes in case they had overflowed. I researched and came across Prof Cem Iyibozkurt with the help of Bookemed medical coordinator Olha and medical coordinator Alisher, who arranged my first video consultation with Prof Cem Iyibozkurt. After a video consultation, I agreed on the date for my surgery, and then Olha and Alisher arranged all my appointments, hospital transportation, and airport pick-up. I am genuinely grateful that my surgery went successfully. I spent 3 days in the hospital. On the discharge day, I felt good and confident enough to walk and had less pain around the stomach area. Today is week 4, past surgery; my scar is healing beautifully and is invisible. You won't even know that I just had a myomectomy surgery. All the discomfort I used to have is gone. No more incontinence pads and my left leg no longer causes pain or gets swollen. I feel renewed. I would recommend Prof Cem Iyibozkurt and Florence Nightingale Istanbul Hospital to any woman looking for the best doctor and hospital for myomectomy surgery.
I liked all the arrangements from the first time I contacted the medical coordinators to the last day I returned to my home country. They were kind, good listeners and responded to my specific demands.

Понравилось, что есть куратор который все время на связи и организовывает необходимые анализы, отвечает на вопросы, говорит на русском. У меня -Яна, она все организовала быстро, эффективно и видно, что ей не все равно. В клинике очень хорошая диагностика. Мне очень понравился врач- доктор Мерчик. Очень конкретный, знающий, с большим опытом. Сказал, что любая программа будет строиться индивидуально после анализа моих результатов, но в процессе можно будет внести изменения. Видно, что Клиника не боится испортить статистику и брать сложных пациентов как я. У меня очень низкий запас яйцеклеток. Сейчас жду второй поездки и надеюсь на беременность.
