Anna Lara

Dr. Lara is a passionate Honduran-born medical doctor with a Mexican heart. She earned her MD at the Catholic University of Honduras and has an Obesity Medicine post-graduate degree from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. She continued into a Masters in Applied Nutrition with a focus on research at Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City where her commitment to staying up-to-date and her passion for evidence-based medicine grew fonder.

She is member of the International Society for Stem Cell Application, SCOPE certified by the World Obesity Federation, and certified for Sport’s and Exercise Nutrition.

Besides her clinical experience within multiple hospital ER’s and private practice, Dr. Lara has vast experience within the Regenerative Medicine area, where her biggest determination is to positively impact lives of her patients. She has also experience in administrative areas within Mexico, where besides overseeing treatments, she is up-to-date with Mexican regulatory laws (COFEPRIS). Her passions involve medicine and sports where she has managed to combine both, in her professional world as well as within her personal life.
