Arsim Hajdari

Dr. Arsim Hajdari is a leading ophthalmologist and Chief Clinical Officer at Italian Eye Hospital in Pristina, Kosovo. With a strong academic background and extensive clinical experience, he is recognized for bringing some of the most advanced eye treatments to the region.

He completed his Medical Doctor (MD) degree at the University of Pristina, followed by a specialization in ophthalmology at the University Clinical Center of Kosovo in 2019. In 2025, he earned a PhD in Ophthalmology from the University “Goce Delchev” in Stip, North Macedonia.

Since joining Italian Eye Hospital in May 2021, Dr. Hajdari has led the clinical department with a strong focus on modern technology, patient care, and surgical excellence. He has treated over 30,000 patients and is the first in Kosovo to implement several cutting-edge procedures, including:

TransPRK (SmartSurface no-touch laser) – over 4,000 successful cases

Laser-Guided Cross-Linking for keratoconus

Beovu (Brolucizumab) injections for wet AMD and diabetic macular edema

IPL therapy for dry eye syndrome

TransPTK for corneal surface irregularities

He specializes in refractive surgery, medical and surgical retina, anti-VEGF injections, trauma surgery, vitrectomy, and oculoplastic procedures. His clinical interests also include corneal diseases, keratoconus management, and high-definition laser vision correction.

Dr. Hajdari plays an important academic role as a lecturer at the University for Business and Technology (UBT) in Pristina. He is actively involved in research and has presented clinical findings at international conferences, including EURETINA Athens 2025, where he shared results on Brolucizumab use in real-world patients.
