Dr. Chen Yong Gang is an endocrinologist and head of Ultrasound Medicine at Xiamen Humanity Hospital. He has independently performed 10,000 minimally invasive procedures using interventional ultrasound. These procedures use imaging to guide needles or catheters through the skin to treat disease. Dr. Chen pioneered a freehand biopsy technique to achieve precision without auxiliary devices.
