The aftercare was excellent

What stuck in my mind most was the moment when the doctor showed me the CT scan and explained the entire treatment plan in detail. He personally carried out the placement of my seven Straumann implants. The aftercare was excellent. They took an active interest in how I was feeling, gave me very clear aftercare instructions and were always available, which was very reassuring. The only additional costs were for the medication, which I bought from a chemist. It’s worth noting that everything I needed to know was explained to me before I arrived at the clinic, so there were no surprises.

A huge thank you to the doctor, the coordinator and the whole clinic staff for their patient and attentive care of their patients. I really do feel lucky to have ended up at this clinic. I missed my flight and lost a whole day. Despite this, they admitted me and carried out everything that had been planned. Right from the start, I really liked this clinic. The staff are warm-hearted and caring people.Thank you also for your help with the translation. For me, there was nothing negative about my first visit. The post-operative instructions were more than detailed. I’m looking forward to the second and final stage. I’d like to believe that I won’t be disappointed going forward either. I’ll definitely leave a review. .

I am extremely pleased with the final results and have had so many great reactions and comments about my new teeth, especially how natural and real they look

I recently returned from my second trip to WestDent Clinic in Izmir, Turkey. In September 2025 I had full mouth extractions, 12 Zirconia implants placed (6 upper jaw, 6 lower jaw), gums stitched over the implants to help Osseointegration of the implants. I returned in January 2026 for the final stage treatment and the installation of 24 Zirconium crowns. This involved the implants being revealed. The healing caps of the implants being removed and temporary abutments fitted so impressions could be taken of my gums, upper and lower jaws. This is so the implants will fit perfectly when my new teeth had been designed with the aid of C.A.D. The abutments were then removed and healing caps replaced onto the implants. Next day my permanent abutments were installed and I was given some temporary teeth which placed onto my abutments, and could be removed. They were made of a foul tasting material called PMMA. But it gave a good idea of the final results, even though they were a greyish colour. The final day my permanent teeth were checked rigourously for bite adjustment, gaps, spacing, alignment etc, before being placed permanently. My second visit was a five day stay, and involved visiting the Clinic each day, and a couple of longer days towards the end. But I am extremely pleased with the final results and have had so many great reactions and comments about my new teeth, especially how natural and real they look. But I have to say big Thanks to my medical coordinator at Bookimed, Dr Kora. By booking my trip to WestDent Clinic in Izmir through Bookimed, it completely removed the added stress of having to organise all of the logistics of the trip on my own. Dr Kora was extremely helpful and efficient in helping to organise and arrange everything with the Clinic on my behalf. Also answering any questions or concerns I may have had at any point, over the two trips. For which I am extremely grateful!

I recently returned from my second visit to WestDent Clinic in Izmir, Turkey. The Clinic is staffed by warm and welcoming people. You are treated well, and the Clinic itself is clean and hygienic.

I honestly can't say that there was anything I didn't like. I felt like I was treated well during both visits and the level of professionalism and care was very good. Obviously having dental implants involves a significant amount of dental work to be done, but I felt it was done as well as possible.

Everything just feels right

If you're considering veneers, I would absolutely point you toward this clinic. My biggest worry was whether they would look and feel natural, but that concern is gone. The surgeon and staff were wonderful. I received over ten zirconia veneers, and the color is a perfect blend with my other teeth. It's still early, but I've had no sensitivity to hot or cold drinks, and my bite feels completely perfect. Everything just feels right. The care I received from everyone involved made the whole process feel manageable and positive.

I am very happy with the result

I had several dental crowns fitted at this clinic and the experience has been very positive. One of my biggest concerns was how my bite would feel afterwards, and I can say that it feels completely natural when chewing. That was key for me. I’ve also been very pleased with the aesthetic result. The colour is very natural and doesn’t look artificial at all. I felt well looked after throughout the whole process. I’d like to thank Dr Tuğçe Bigiş for her professionalism and kindness, as well as the interpreter (María, a Madrid native now living in Izmir), the coordinator Natalia, and the rest of the team, who were very professional and clear in their explanations. At the moment, I’m still getting used to eating (avoiding hard, very cold or very hot foods), but that’s to be expected. I am very happy with the result. Thank you all.

I have just finished my dental treatment at WestDent (Izmir) and my experience has been very positive. I would particularly like to commend Dr Tuğçe Bigiş for her professionalism and kindness, as well as María (the interpreter, a girl from Madrid now living in Izmir) and Natalia (the coordinator), who were instrumental throughout the process in ensuring everything went smoothly and was clear. The treatment wasn’t straightforward and there were moments of discomfort, but the team supported me every step of the way. The arrangements (hotel, transport, clinic) were very well organised. I’m very pleased with the aesthetic and functional results. Now comes the adjustment phase, but it was definitely worth it.

Overall, my experience was very positive. As for areas for improvement, the only thing I found a bit of a nuisance was the long waiting times at certain stages of the process. Otherwise, I was given all the necessary information and had an interpreter, which made communication much easier.

I never felt alone for a minute - everything was explained in an easy-to-understand way and I was accompanied during all the procedures. Special thanks for organising the transfer: we were met at the airport, taken to the clinic every day and brought back to the hotel - everything was organised clearly, conveniently and without delays. Our stay in a cosy hotel near the clinic was very comfortable: clean rooms, caring staff and an atmosphere in which we could really relax and recover after the procedures.
